My original question regarding this was to avoid this.
Pre-registering Spotify accounts is not required if players can be
announced on the local
Go into Settings -> Basic Settings tab. What does it show in the "Media
Folders" for your music folder? Sometimes when a drive is removed and
then re-plugged it may get a different drive letter than it had
previously. Verify that what you have specified here matches what
Windows Explorer shows
Disabling shuffle after the playlist has been shuffled for the first
time would prevent this.
That's what I was considering doing, too.
Yes, but the songs get placed in the original order again.
That's the compromise you'd have to live with. The limitation here is
that LMS does not

Sorry if this has been posted/discussed elsewhere but I didn't see
it...
Running LMS in Windows 7 for a transporter connected via wifi. Normally
works more or less fine (garbled artists name etc. but what else is new)
but since yesterday it will not recognize my music folders anymore from

Sorry, not trying to hijack/reopen, but this seems like as good a place

honestly don't remember how any of this works :p...
My plugins appear not to be working, this is from the log (post 7.9.2
last night's version install):

I posted this error in 3rd Party Software, but was unable to get a fix,
so I thought I'd try in LMS.
I'm getting a connection error when attempting to d/l a 3rd party plugin
from github and also when attempting to play a track from Band's
Campout.
The error is:

It has always been F and shows so in the media folder section; WMP uses
the same folders and the music plays just fine...

Don't worry too much about that error message ... it happens a lot
without any obvious side-effects (here at least).
Probably best to start a new thread with what you see as the problem
with your plugin(s) - and people can advise on what to do next to
diagnose and resolve.

Hi,
its a common thing that USB Sticks are formatted in FAT32.
External Drives may formatted as NTFS.
So is your external HD NTFS? And did you atteched it at some point to
another PC and ad some
Unfortunately it did not work. mp3 file is not playing... looks like it
may not be possible to apply the same for mp3 files.

Connected to LMS? MySB? Restarted the units? Checked the server?

Just wondering if there are any updates on this issue? Was
Static IP addresses should always be outside the dhcp scope!
Alternative is to use a feature like IP bind to make sure a device
always gets the same IP. Disadvantage by uses this feature is that if
you change router you have to make sure to copie entire IP bind table.
Advantage of the feature is
