Hello I have installed LMS on pCP on a Pi 1. I can connect to it by the web, I thought I had installed the sound card but when I installed jivelite it asked what player. I am not sure of this and could do with a bit of advise. I have done something wrong. Any help appreciated. Thanks diode84

Update from my previous post. Cleaned up a few files, and my scan proceeds further but still fails . Apparently there have been some scanner acceptance changes between 7.9.0 and 7.9.1 . please see the last lines of scanner log with debug on. This is running on MAX2PLAY 2.50 and Logitech

Any way you can think of to diagnose the lock-ups in LMS that this thread is actually about? It seems to be much better since I got the July 24 build, but definitely isn't working nearly as well as it was on Debian 9. bpa asked you to run in --failsafe mode. Did you do that? You mentioned

Hi, I never installed the auto rescan plugin, My only choices under advanced settings are: 1. rescan automatically when changes are made 2. prompt for rescan when changes are made. I am never prompted, rarely make changes. Just a minor annoyance. thanks.
