Did you _ever_ disable flac streaming in the TIDAL settings on mysb.com?

I have recently upgraded to LMS 7.9.1 and I also have this problem with
the Logitech Tidal plugin. It is only streaming mp3 for albums and
tracks that I know are FLAC files (I have played them before as FLAC in
LMS 7.8)
I have had a HIFI subscription for a year now.
I have set the quality to FLAC / MP3 in the tidal plugin and have LMS
set to "Unlimited".

Not sure what else to do, can anyone offer any suggestions?

Yeah, I begun to get the idea of what was going on. 7.7.2 is shut down,
not in use. Need to understabd what folders to create and share, the
instruction is a bit confusing.

@epoch1970- WHOA!! Thanks much. And I (thought) I had read every thread

Thanks very much for this. I've been looking for it ever since I had to
do a wipe and reinstall.

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Bought QNAP TS251+ and alreay regret it...

2017-09-12 Thread Zombie

Finished copying my music library to the QNAP and changed its network
address to the old LMS address (on the ReadyNAS).
Just for fun I shut down the ReadyNAS and reload the same LMS URL and
LMS starts. I check the version and it is 7.9.0 (my ReadyNAS has 7.9.1).
OK, so I go on and Softsqueeze and my SB Touch connects. A bit surprised
I scan the music library, but nothing.
I open the Browse dialogue, but shows only bin, boot, dev, etc, home,
lib, lib64, media, mnt, opt, proc, run, sbin, srv, sys, tmp and usr.
Nothing works and I can't see my ordinary network.
I then tested radio, it works! So I have installed LMS 7.7.2 and it is
nowhere, I installed smth from the "container installation instruction"
and chose the "latest" version. But I never started to follow the
container installation instructions since I waited for the music to be
copied (20 hrs).
I have no idea how I have come this far...
The only thing I need to find now, is the music library on the QNAP NAS.
Anyone have any explanation and ideas how I can find the library
catalogue?
And also to copy the settings and favourites from the old LMS
installation on the ReadyNAS (got them as a backup)...

On Linux system use "top" from command line - I'm guessing top is also
available on pcp.

If files are flac then no trasncoding unless you have change system
settings (e.g. force WAV top players, upsample etc).

If your problem only occurs when syncing with players - then it sounds
like either network is overloaded or network interface is not able to
support the traffic - IIRC on pi ethernet and USB are shared so USB
traffic will affect network also if data is being exchanged with a NAS
over ethernet while playing - network capacity for players will be
reduced.

how could i check the rabsperry processor usage? most of my files are in
flac, is this the issue? i notice the issue whe many players are

i use raspberry only for squeezebox use

The nightly builds haven't been building properly since 6th September.
You probably already know this but... just in case.

Unfortunately yes, I've been aware of this, and tried to fix without
success :-(. The builds available are still the latest, though.
