Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Can't play stream through LMS; other players work fine
You don't say what players nor which OS LMS you are using. The stream has a mime of audio/mp4 - this is an mpeg-4 enco0ded stream. Some mpeg4- stream cannot played natively by players which can natively play AAC (i.e. Touch, Radio, Squeezelite) . You could try disable "native" for "MPEG-4" file types and see if faad can handled the transcoding . If faad cannot handle - then you can set up a custom-convet.conf file to use ffmpeg / avconv dependingn your OS . Below assume Linux and avconv. You will lose skip forward to a time capability. Code: mp4 flc * * # FRB:{BITRATE=-B %B}T:{START=-ss %s} [avconv] -loglevel quiet -f mp4 $START$ -i $FILE$ -f flac - bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108804 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Can't play stream through LMS; other players work fine
I'm trying to play a particular stream (or series of) through LMS. They play fine through VLC or directly through a browser. One example stream is http://emit-media-production.s3.amazonaws.com/pbs/5ft-high-rising/2018/03/10/0600/201803100600_5ft-high-rising_64.m4a The debug logs in from LMS are I've sniffed the network traffic on the server using tcpdump/wireshark and it _seems_ that the file starts streaming successfully (at least from a network perspective), but the LMS server isn't doing anything with it. Any ideas? +---+ |Filename: lmslog.txt | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=24696| +---+ askvictor's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64977 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108804 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

A vile hack could be a 1s long track with silence as track 0 ( or 1 if LMS does not accept 0) in this silent first track you could have the desired album art embedded . Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Artwork Display Priority
If they also apear as separate albums . Not as a singel album with each 45 as a disc 1,2,3... Each 45 Will pick thier folder jpg . But then you migth aswell embedde them. For each 45 But LMS do track artwork , so each song can have different artwork embedded . For an album LMS pick the embedded art in track one . So you could have the boxset as is and embedd different art in each file belonging to different 45s. You get different art for each track . But it does not solve the issue with the album art your wish to have the boxsett cover as album art . I think LMS could need some more refinement here. Thanks Marco for this great plugin, and also for the instructions on DSD resampling on https://audiodigitale.eu/. There are times when I have cover art embedded in tags but want the separate folder "cover.jpg" to show in LMS web summary views, e.g. albums by artist.
