No, I have not noticed any artwork-rescan. It seems to

I think the fsck.ext4 "-f" just checks the file structure & allocation
of blocks - not whether the files are readable.

Yes, Daphile will use your inbuilt DVD drive for CD ripping with
automated tagging and cover art etc, and using AccurateRip comparisons.
