[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Help for UPnP mobile player
Hi! I need someone that can help me to play music from an android smartphone accessing to LMS in my local network. I got LMS 7.9.2 on a local server at home. With some app (for example Foobar mobile) I can see LMS in the UPnP/DLNA server list of the app. I can browse all my music and play mp3 files, but can not play flac tracks. When I try this, I got this error: "Playbac error: Bad Request (400) On: "http://192.x.x.x:9000/music/xx/download.mp3?bitrate=320; I don't know if this is an error of the player or a settings problem on LMS. I don't know where change this settings! There is several plugin for UPnP/DLNA: one by Andy Grundman (the plugin name sounds like "Multimedia Interface UPnP/DLNA (v1.0)") and another one named "UPnP/DLNA bridge". With another app (BubbleUPnP) I can play FLAC files, but I don't know why I can not use also foobar. Hi, Paul, One more question: The same network drive wasn't recognized after being physically disconected and then connected again. I had to completely delete and add this disk and then to do full rescan of library to make it visible. Is that normal? Thanks everyone! Your advice and this thread indicate that this is possible, but perhaps not desired (plus, I never got it to work). I'm going to tackle this a different way. I have already mounted my NAS and access those music files with max2play. Since I can 'see' that mountpoint/drive, I set up sync software to sync all the folders I need from google drive to my NAS. Yeah, it's duplicate storage, but storage is cheap and now I can point, click and play. Less stuff to manage and no lag/latency. I had to look into the /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/IR/Default.map file
indeed.
The command to pause is
curl -X POST -d

http://localhost:9000/jsonrpc.js
the same will resume play.
I'll then configure my keyboard accordingly.

If I clear the URL line from a preset and hit 'Apply', I can't then clear the description line. Not until I re-enter some text for the URL and save it first. Thanks! I changed behaviour to remove the preset if the URL is emptied.
