I've been using LMS for a while on Fedora with the squeezecommunity,org
repository. However I've been stuck on Fedora 30 for a while because
they don't have repos for newer versions. Does anyone have a simple
solution for upgrading?

I will test the update, but before I read your reply I loaded what
seemed a suitable extension: pcp-libalac.tcz. Direct streaming from
Tidal

No firewall or special security settings. It is a standard netboot
Ubuntu 20.04 installation without any GUI or server services. I used LMS
with Tidal, I think, 6 weeks ago with no problems - I am vinyl listener
And OpenSSL, IO::Socket::SSL etc. are all up to date (see
Settings/information)?

Can you give this build a try for tidal with stream poxy turned off?

streaming to Tidal, it doesn't ...
Please note that this "issue" is easily fixed by setting "Proxied
streaming" for the player in LMS! I'm just curious since

I restarted the LMS service, but nothing changed. There is only a
problem with playback of Tidal songs (FLAC not mp3). From my LMS app
(SqueezeControl) and LMS Webfrontend I have access to all my Tidal
playlists and favorites and so on, but when I select a song and wants to
play
