Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Possible bug with mixed up artwork
Correct fellows, albums are under an artist folder, then a folder by album title. It is so sporadic, and when I do a clear/rescan sometimes it fixes the issue for some artist but other titles (sometimes from other artists that never previously showed this issue) can then show this behavior. pscreed's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3723 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114877 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

You don't explain how the audio playing on your local PC is captured by LMS. Are you using the Wave Input plugin on LMS? If so, the last page of the 'Wave Input thread' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?35718-Announce-Wave-Input-plugin-v1-00/page59) suggests that the URL of the audio streamed by LMS is: http://mylms:9000/stream.mp3 Replace mylms with the host name or IP address of the server that runs LMS. If that does not work you may want to give some more information about your setup. Also after fixing this problem it is probably a good idea to store a copy of your LMS favorites.opml file as a backup. | LMS 8.2.1 | Squeezebox Boom | RPi0W + pCP 7.0.1 + HiFiBerry DAC Zero | SqueezeAMP | CJS's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68700 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115102 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

To install 8.2.1 on Debian Stretch (and maybe newer) which don't yet support apt install packagefile, when you (sudo) dpkg -i packagefile you may get an unmet dependencies error the easy fix is to then run (sudo) aptitude install logitechmediaserver (I assume apt will also work but I used aptitude) It will sort out the dependencies and install the needed packages and finish installing the server. For the curious the packages needed were: libcrypt-openssl-bignum-perl libcrypt-openssl-rsa-perl 2 SB3, 1 Duet Debian Squeeze server LMS 7.9.4 TP-Link AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Router wireless network. Maybe I will try that. Clear and rescan takes less than 30 minutes. And I have tried that, sometimes it solves one set of bunged artwork but then the issue shows up in a different place. What is interesting to me is that when wrong artwork appears, its always the correct artist. In other words, I have never seen an Eric Clapton album with artwork from a Van Morrison album. But I have seen (for instance), Money and Cigarettes the album shown with the artwork from Behind the Sun. Crazy. It must be something wrong in my instance or Id imagine there would be a lot of posts on this. I have just installed the latest update smoothly in Truenas. However, I am having problems with the Airplay bridge plugin. I can not make it pair with AppleTV. I get (server log): Code: [21-09-06 19:45:44.3366] Plugins::RaopBridge::Pairing::displayPIN (57) Cannot load crypto modules, please check your configurationAttempt to reload CryptX.pm aborted. Compilation failed in require at /usr/local/share/logitechmediaserver/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Pairing.pm line 47. I have the same behavior using the Truenas LogitechMediaSever plugin. I guess that it is a problem with the Airplay bridge plugin in FreeBSD. The answer probably depends on exactly what you're doing on the PC to create the stream. If you use Icecast, you should be able to find what you need by opening a browser tab at http://:8000 . Assuming you use the standard port, 8000, this will display the Icecast status page, which should tell you the mount point. The stream url would be http://:8000/ . Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Notification for new version LMS available
AFAIK the most recent stable version was 8.2.1 at that time (august 23), which I have installed. When I installed this version, there was a dev version 8.3 which I skipped (want to stay in the stable-path). Today, I noticed a new version is available according to the LMS screen. But docker still says stable version is 8.2.1 and dev version is 8.3. While 8.2.1 is the stable branch, it hasn't been released yet. Which means that it is getting a bug fix every now and then, without the version number being bumped each time. 8.3 is the development branch. It's where bigger changes are implemented. If you wanted to not get any updates until there's a new release, you should stick with the "latest" tag for the Docker image. That should currently be 8.2.0. ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Notification for new version LMS available
Hi all, after Perl stopped supporting LMS, I too have switched to using LMS in Docker on Synology NAS. AFAIK the most recent stable version was 8.2.1 at that time (august 23), which I have installed.
