You got me thinking about tracks, instead of artwork... I looked at the metadata on the source vs. metadata on my server. I doesn't match in the case of the problem tracks even though I have been using Carbon Copy Cloner to copy the data. So something strange is going on here. I really appreciate the time you have spent on this and the great work you are doing for all of us. If I ever figure out the root cause of this issue I will update this post. At least we got some good chat in about one of my favorite artists :) Regards, pscreed pscreed's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3723 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114877 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Possible bug with mixed up artwork
Looking at the media files in the folders, I do not see any tracks in the wrong folders, and when I check their metadata I don't see any wrong albums listed on any tracks... not sure if this detail helps but thought I would throw it out there. Please check some of those files for the albums you listed in the data you sent me. Four out of the five examples you gave have a way higher bitrate than you'd expect. Basically larger than what samplerate and samplesize should result in, or whether what the file size would suggest (eg. 2.8Mbps for 44.1/16 - file:///mnt/ssd/lossless/C/Camel/The%20Snow%20Goose%20[DE]/1-20%20The%20Snow%20Goose%20-%20Freefall%20[Live].flac). Verify your scanner.log whether those files are mentioned with any irregularity. Double check the file's metadata. Feel free to upload one such file for further investigation. As the problem you're seeing is news to me, I tend to believe there's a data problem. Or at least something very specific about your files which is triggering some oddity in the scanner. ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Or CUE sheets? Hi Michael - playlists are in a different folder, not part of the same tree. No CUE sheets... Just to be clear, this only affects a handful of albums (maybe 150 out of 7k). And a rescan can solve it for some albums but then cause it for others. Uploaded as requested. I have Qobuz and Spotty but both are set to "Do not integrate online music collection". What I see from your files is not a wrong artwork, but rather wrong tracks. For each album there seems to be one track coming from a different album. They would have the same artist and title, but I'm not sure whether they would be the same songs, as some of them differ immensely in file size (like 6x larger), and the filename doesn't always represent the track title. Would you have playlists in some of your folders? Or CUE sheets? ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

I am running pCP 8.0.0 64-bit with LMS running but not Squeezelite; I have setup a USB drive with all music files allowing SAMBA access. All appears to be fine except that I cannot write to the disk from Windows 10. The disk is in NTFS format and I have run "Set Write Permissions" which seems to have worked (it is a little slow!). After a reboot I attempted to add a new folder (error - catastrophic failure!) and I attempted to copy a set of files to the main music folder - W10 reported that the disk was Read only. The SAMBA share was created with "Create File Mode" set to 0775, I did try 0777 but that does not work either. Password for samba share is set to standard for user "tc".
