need to be enabled explicitely? It was based on an AppleScript calling
iTunes. Well, lack of iTunes this now obviously fails...

If you are using the "Denon AVP/AVR Control" plugin, please make sure
that v4.3.2 is not installed, as there was a bug that could cause
symptoms such as the ones you are experiencing on Windows only. The bug
is fixed in the current v4.3.3 version.

By "hang" I just mean that the server status in the prefpane indicates
that it is "starting" rather than running (and the Start Server option
is greyed out). It has remained like this for 5 hours. According to
Activity Monitor, perl5.18 is only using 0.2% CPU, so LMS is not
perfoming intensive

resolve the issue, so it does not seem to relate to permissions on the
log or cache files

Since the last update the server regularly hangs.
Webinterface times out, players cannot connect, service cannot be
restartet.
I need to kill the process from task manager.

Happy New Year all, I'm just noting an issue I can't find on here: just
twice in the past couple of years LMS has lost the stored list of
podcasts.
Most recently it happened after an update to my ReadyNAS(212 running
OS6) firmware and NAS restart. LMS8.2.0 came back seamlessly with
everything
So it turns out to be a known problem with ASUS XT8 routers.
Reverting the firmware from Version 3.0.0.4.386.45934 to Version
3.0.0.4.386.42095 on all 4 mesh routers immediatly fixed both
squeezeboxes.
A few hours later one had reverted but a reboot fixed that and its been
12 hours now.
