I am just using default everything.. server web control of a Boom and
sync'd to a radio.
the only difference is the path I am taking to get to the url.. Home >
RADIO > Podcasts > Talk > Film > Kermode and Mayo's Film Review > Recent
Episodes > Steve Zahn, etc etc

Using the cache method meant that the whole podcast played without a
stop.
But trying to play it again, gives me the below error in cache mode:
404 Not Found:
There is no "http:" skin, try http://192.168.1.149:9000 instead.

slartibartfast I am in NZ, so I assume the worst case. But Plex Media
Server doesn't have any trouble with these long podcasts.. I have always
had this problem since using LMS.

I was just celebrating the reliable plug-in being able to listen without
any breaks.. today I find that this version Logitech Media Server
Version: 8.2.0 - 1614990095 @ Sat Mar 6 01:33:04 WEST 2021 says it is
not supported..
So is it best to go back to the earlier version or will the reliable
just reporting back, after installing the Logitech Media Server
*-Version: 8.2.0 -* and activating the "*-Reliable-*" plugin, I have not
had any long podcasts stop at random as they used to.

to a single column list of plugins. The separation of "active" and

Just to add that the issue is with kermode & Mayo film review.. but that
is the only one I listen to from BBC, it happens on every ep. three or
four times. These are very long eps, usually over 2hours in length.

Hi there all, as the title says, I regularly listen to BBC streamed
podcasts, trouble is it will just stop at random, maybe after 50mins or
only 7mins. Pressing play again the stream starts from the beginning
again, and I must jump through to roughly where it stopped.

as with my posts last July-ish the issue has fixed itself again..
a second restart of the PC and obviously the LMS and the scanner found
all the media. No changes by me in LMS or windows settings.
so I am happy, again..

I have already downgraded back to 7.7.5 since that had been working fine
in win7.. and since the move to win10 the library scanner has refused to
"scan".. But that problem is now also with 7.7.5.

I noticed that MS is providing a free update of genuine win7 users to
win10, so I took the plunge and updated.
Firstly I found that the default browser 'edge' did not show the my
library in the left-hand pane of the web control page.
