Just for fun ... install lame on your LMS machine.
If it makes it work then at least you can listen to stuff while
scratching you head.

I think that the problem has to do with the info of file and especially
the bitrate.
I created a new server with bubbleupnp ap all play fine.
THe problem I think is that on my usb stick on router I have this error

Ah - now scrolled even further down in the second file to find that.
However, it also reports that it wanted to use LAME but could not find
it.
I have tried a flac file at first, and then a mp3 file. Neither result
at any of them. So, my router doesn't make any conversion.
What router are you using?

If you install lame (and LMS then finds it) then it looks like it will
be used to transcode from flac to mp3 which might well work.
However, making your UPnP

Well the problem is about the support of flac and mp3 format, but I am
new to lms and I have no idea how to solve this.
Streaming an mp3 file shouldn't require any transcoding. Did you modify
the file format options in LMS? Or bitrate limiting?

On my TV I see the dlna

You need to set additional browse mode settings on the server you are
using, not on the remote

BMF probably wouldn't work. But browsing by artists etc. IMHO should
work as always. That said: I don't use cue sheets

Author of C-3PO plugin,
For WAV it depends on the headers and formats. Worst case is the WAV
file contains nothing like that and then the player doesn't.know what to
play.
FLAC or MP3 are easier here because they alway contain format
information

Just resurrecting this post as I have recently upgraded my production
server to 7.9.x and started to use Remote Music Libraries.
I am not sure if this has been spotted or documented before but it
appears that a Synchronised Group of players cannot play stuff from a
remote library whereas as an
