Noticed that I had a pre-installed Picture gallery plugin with the
default path /share/HDA_DATA/ set. That would very much cover my photo
folders. Still concerned though. I haven't scanned images what I'm aware
of and if so final library would sum up considerably more files than
expected. Briefly

No, what i am suggesting is that the only way to test if Kaspersky is
causing your problem is to completely uninstall it.
For what it's worth, for the past several years I have been running

No, I don't know of such a solution but: I just stumbled across a
tool called BitBar (https://getbitbar.com) which allows to create custom
menu bar items. What you're seeing is a small script I cobbled together
in a few minutes. Tell me if you're interested. I might make it

excellent. this is what i was looking for. can you share step-by-step
solution?
The plugin should soon be available from the BitBar plugin repository.
Until that's the case follow these instructions:
- install BitBar
- configure a plugin folder (you'll be prompted when you first run it)
- dow
Yes, that was the case. The images were there to browse in the Gallery
plugin.
I guess I've accidently scanned images by unticking that box without
applying before scanning and the pre-set path to all my images in the
gallery plugin kicked in.
Or does that plugin scan images wether or not I have

Ok, I used bad peggy yesterday, and it identified a lot of 'bad' files.
I removed them all. And after that I did a full rescan.
This morning, I started playing some music, and the server stopped
again. Server.log is also ending with this line again:
