See Settings/Information.
So probably we need to connect via ssh and execute a command line to do
that. But to do so 1.) the location of the cache folder must
Hello Michael,
ok, the cache folder location in settings/information menu is listed
beneath what in the german version is named as
"Zwischenspeicher-Ordner", right? So that was really easy.
I was hoping digimaster might help (I asked him) as he naturally knows
best about QNAP and LMS. But I

thanks for your thoughts!

Hello,
I hope it is ok to post my specific question here, even though it is a
bot off topic but I'm quite confident that if anywhere, here is the
place where I might find some help among you
QLogitechMediaServer-experts.
I have QLogitechMediaServer 2.04.00 with LMS 7.9.2 running on a QNAP
Would it be allowed to pose that specific question concerning the right
command line in the ongoing "QLogitechMediaServer for Qnap with QTS 4.2
or higher and x86_64/I686/X86 support !" thread?
Sure, give it a try.

LMS is single thread which means a badly behaved plugin or more recently
some https network problems can "lock" the system as WebUI and player
are all network comms.
Your LMS seems to be up to date (10 Jul by the datestamp). On 20 Jun
some changes were made to LMS to fix some blocking code on

Also, make sure that you have the -ca-certificates- package installed.
It provides root certificates for verifying secure SSL/TLS connections.
You almost certainly do, but it is worth checking, as an absence of root
certificates
Hi,
my usually extremely stable LMS installation recently (3-4 weeks ago)
started having problems. After a couple of days of successfully running,
it's shutting down and cannot be successfully restarted (tried console

I did stop LMS before installing the new version, and rebooted the
computer afterward.) I'll try that later and report results here.

No Play Next option from the Advanced Search results. But, as kidstypike
pointed out, all I have to do
Enable SSH on the Qnap and use putty (or winscp) to navigate the file
structure to delete .db files
Im guessing winscp would be better in your case
Use admin not root user
