I haven't checked the forum to see how 7.9 is doing, but after loading
fine it did have some issues with placement of text, missing controls,
etc.. I loaded 7.8.1 and that works fine. I'll check back on 7.9 at a
later date. I really liked the new features that I saw when I loaded it

Thanks Michael! That did it. I've been running everything on 7.71
forever and have been very happy. I do keep my pi's updated and when the
latest picoreplayer software had the ability to use an SB remote I had
to try it. That went so well I thought I'd try to add the LMS to it and

Can someone tell me where my configuration for the Music Information
Screen is stored? I had it set up exactly like I like it, but my hard
drive died. I loaded my backup, but the configuration for the MIS didn't
load back.

Can I go home now?
I am so sorry. I certainly wasn't thinking. I am running XP, but your
info got me there.
Thanks and I'll kick myself all evening :-)

Can I go home now?
My issue is, I would like to copy my Foobar Playlists to my LMS. It get
a little complicated. My LMS is on a Raspberry Pi using PiCorePlayer.
The playlists are in Foobar on a Windows machine. However, the Foobar
software pulls it's music files over the network from the LMS.
Originally these
OMG, I forgot to capitalize the "M" in "Music" in the path.
I apologize and thanks for everyone's help.

Not looking for an answer, but am curious about all the extraneous lines
in my SBS created playlists.
Thanks

Thanks for all the info. It's pretty much what I've tried with the
exception that I only tried one file. Cautious at my age :-) Here's an
example of from each playlist type. The use of the % instead of / is one
of a couple of things that just seems to make this worse than normal.
Here's a Foobar
Thanks Toby, that got me started.
Apparently the problem came up when I moved playlists from one server to
another. Some of the paths in the play lists were /mnt/Music and some
were //mnt/Music.
Thank goodness I only had about twenty playlists to go through.
Thanks again and have a great day.
That pretty much says it all. I am on 7.9.1 - 1516947667 and I would say
I started seeing this in the past several nightly updates.
I'm running LMS on PicorePlayer/RaspberryPi3. I don't know if I should
check in with them or start here. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When using Advanced/Formatting/Artwork to enter a different name for an
album cover, what is the result supposed to be. Is it supposed to
display more than one cover for an album. For example, I use Folder.jpg
to identify my album covers in the LMS, but I may have additional covers

I'm on Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.2 - 1564003588 and LMS is dog
slow in responding. Unfortunately I upgraded to an RPI4, piCorePlayer
6.01 and the new LMS all in one fell swoop. Not sure which or if it is a
combo that is the culprit. I use almost no Plugins and of course

After a little messing with this, my problem seems to be related to pcP
6.0 and players on my network that are running older versions of pcP.
Something that will probably get worked out in later versions I
suspect.

I just installed pCP 6.0 on a RPI 4. I took a hard drive that I had a
copy of all my music on and am using that with it. The only files on the
drive are the music folder/files. After scanning LMS shows about 25%
more songs than it should. I found some issues with playlists and fixed
them.
the issue, but I'm good to go.

Yup, clear the entire library each time. If I clear the cache won't that
clear all of my setting also?

Thanks Paul. I'll try the keyboard idea, but the remote I have is HID.
As I mentioned, it does work, to an extent, on my pi with the screen
attached. That's pretty much the only difference between the one in my
car. Well that and the one in my car runs LMS. The remote works on the

LOL Absolute Greek to me. I'm just a humble user who loves the old SB
products and the RPI stuff.
The OSMC RF remote seems to work out well for the HiFiBerry software and
Kodi.

Thanks Paul. I'm still trying to find something to control the server in
my car. IR won't work and the Duet doesn't stay charged long enough, so
I would love to use wireless OSMC remote like they are using in the HiFi
Berry software.
Someday...

Triggerhappy the camera remote? I looked at the link. So much of this is

I can control LMS with the Duet remote. Is it possible to control LMS

Thank you slartibartfast and Michael. It would be cool, Michael, if your
plugin could read it. I feel like I'm asking for way more than I
should.

Is there a way to have the artists picture (assuming you have it) next
to the artists name under the 'Artists' listing. Similar to the way
'Albums' does in LMS.
Or show the folder image file...
Thanks,

I've already tagged a lot of them. I'm looking for something that would
read the Artist image in the tag.

Ah, thanks very much. That's pretty cool, but I'd rather pull the images
from my tags if there is a way.

It doesn't show up in track details and I'm not sure where Foobar puts
it. If you look at Properties for a song in Foobar there's a metadata,
details, replay gain and artwork tabs. All of my songs have the album
cover in the artwork tab under Front Cover no matter where the image
came from. I've

Is there a way to create something like a 60's random playlist similar
to "Years" in LMS?

Boy, there would be a good survey. How many folks use random play. I use

you could program to shuffle random by playing a song on one player and

Hi Jim,
Not shuffling, to me, would be like eating all the orange M's first

though.
