G'day, we now know who will come (http://wiki.xmpp.org/web/Summit_16), it would be interesting to know on which project everybody is working. Maybe an interoperability test would be interesting. We are 2 devs (souliane and me) from the « Salut à Toi » project, a multi-frontends XMPP client

There's lots of people saying this would be a good idea, and most (easily accessible) places in Europe are also good for people. Seems it needs someone (maybe a group of 3) to make a decision and run with it. fippo and Lance might be in Berlin mid-September so I'll put my hand up for Berlin

Another alternative is mid-September around JSConfEU week (13th-14th September) in Berlin, http://jsfest.berlin/ There's an event on the 9th called decentralize.js although I don't have any additional details about it right now. The main conference is sold out but the others still have tickets.
