for making the quadrant sundial can be read in the beginning
of the files quadrant.bas and quadm.bas using any text editor.
The files can be found also at the bottom of my page given above.
Any opinions and comments are welcome.
I wish to everyone more happy hours devoted to the sundials!

Dear dialists,
The discussed new cylindrical sundial is beautiful. Congratulations to
everyone who has participated in this project!
Let me remind you that about 5 years ago I was encouraged by Carl Sabanski
to prepare DeltaCad macros for cylindrical dials.
An universal macro can be downloaded
You can check also with all suitable sites at

close to the equinoxes! Try the much better case of vertical gnomon (do
not change the parameters in the macro).
I want to thank you again and to wish you health and success!

Dear Sundial Friends,
Thank you very much for the response to my request!
I am sure everyone has opened with interest the variety of web addresses
in the mail messages.
Meanwhile, I found the address I was looking for and I want to extend
the list of similar sites with it:
Dear Sundial Friends,
I have seen a web page giving a (java) graph of the position of the Sun
with the azimuth on the horizontal axis and the height on the vertical
axis for arbitrary coordinates.
Unfortunately, I have lost the web address.
I tried Google, but perhaps I do not use the proper way

Dear Sundial Friends,
When I saw the mail messages about Foster-Lambert sundial, I decided to

P.S. Some years ago I made another sundial which uses the altitude
(heght) of the sun, but it is a PostScript file. You can download

alive...):
