Good to hear. Wonder if it is because of working NGR or
simply because
the unstable network is smaller.. I believe that this isn't
known yet.
Don't things work better when it's bigger? :-)
It should do.. If routing was working well and able to cope with the
growth and load balancing.
What kind of error messages do you see?
And also are you using some kind of broadband router/software firewall

How about
using the 'Address' field then? I allows you to navigate to ANY web page in the
whole wide world.
Also, you can
type in any start page you want in 'Tools\Internet Options\Home page'. If that
doesn't work then I would suggest that you have a talk with Microsoft. And
This is nothing to do with Freenet. It sounds like you've accidentally
set 127.0.0.1: as your homepage. Did you know that if you
accidentally press CTRL+D while using IE 6.0 it will set the current page
to be your homepage? It sounds as if this is what you have done. If
you're using IE 6.0

I don't see any error messages at all, I figured maybe it was something
due to the uptime of the program so i kept it on about 10-12 hours, and
the only difference I saw was that when I started Freenet it was at a load
of 100%, after the 10-12 hours it was at a load of 0%. So I'm guessing
there
Hmm.. Ok, so what exacltly is it that doesn't work for you? Is it
getting the ActiveLinks in the web interface? Is it navigating to a
freesite? If it is the second then you should get a message saying
something like 'Route not found' or possibly 'Data not found' or
something.. What does the page

Some are just a little short on being helpful. Tell the poor guy how to
get his mail. You are not helping him by telling him to use one of his
other browsers without advise on at least how to get his mail.
I have a machine set up with Linux; unfortunately it DOES NOT RUN the

when Launching Frost I get this.

You are running a TRANSIENT node. Better run a
PERMANENT freenet node. )
How do I run a PERMANENT freenet node?
I currently have a DSL and Cable internet connection
and can leave my comp's on all the time.
I am also willing to donate
What is your thread limit? From the looks of that it is incredibly
low... Also, are you using YThreads or QThreads... what you might want
to do is increase your thread limit to something closer to 200 or 300
and change to YThreads.
