[freenet-support] New to Freenet. Need help
I am new to Freenet. Installed okay and have download set up but after downloading a few files I cannot find them. It says they are downloaded to temporary folder but I look in /temp and it has a ton of files, none of which seem to be the files I downloaded. There seems to be no button in Freenet to click to view downloaded files and nothing to tell me where to find them. I also not a few other options that never seem to work. For instance changing the priority for downloads does not function. I select a higher priority and click to set but it just changes back to low every time. The main issue for me is where are the files I just downloaded located? Thanks. --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com ___ Support mailing list Support@freenetproject.org http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.freenet.support Unsubscribe at http://emu.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support Or mailto:support-requ...@freenetproject.org?subject=unsubscribe
[freenet-support] Why are you telline ME this???
Datastore(PUBKEY-cache) maintenance in progress: 445568/502974. Freenet is rebuilding the "slot filter" index for your datastore, probably because Freenet did not shut down properly at some point. This allows Freenet to access the disk a lot less, but rebuilding the indexes will involve some extra disk access for some time, depending on the size of your datastore. Your Freenet node may be slower than usual during this process, please avoid restarting Freenet. Maybe you should be contacting those retarded BOOBS over at Microsoft! They force us to restart our computers all the FLIPPIN' time! Well, here's a message for you!!! Please avoid telling me to please avoid restarting Freenet!!!___ Support mailing list Support@freenetproject.org http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.freenet.support Unsubscribe at http://emu.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support Or mailto:support-requ...@freenetproject.org?subject=unsubscribe
Re: [freenet-support] Website bug: can't use menus on mobile Firefox
I'm not exactly a web development expert :-) Here's one idea if you have the time: on the "About" and every other page you can get to from the About menu, show all the places under the About menu somewhere, for example on a side panel to the left. I sort of expected to be able to click "News" from the "About" page because it was under that menu, so I've probably seen websites in the past that follow this rule.
