In Firefox there is a pref to set a URL to open when you create a new
tab. I have it set to open my home page (a local file). Sure would be

I go to Task Manager it is not listed so it does
close. It is only when SeaMonkey call Adobe does it stay open, it as if
SM will not release it when done.
Maybe uninstall Adobe Acrobat and install Foxit?

If not, I will have to abandon SeaMonkey.

compatibility tab. Put a check in the box for "Run this program in
compatibility mode for:". Select Windows 7. Try the program again and
see if it solved anything.
FWIW, I'm running SM on two Windows 10 systems with no issues at all.
