Seamonkey not asking for user name in newsgroup

Need a little help here. I put the wrong user name in to a newsgroup and told seamonkey to remember it, now I can't put the correct one in, just the password, which doesn't get me anywhere because of the wrong user name. Suggestions. TIA Eric ___
