Re: SeaMonkey 1.1.13 not dispalying all images in Google image search

You may have blocked a server hosting such images by mistake. To check, open the Image Manager: Tools Image Manager Manage Image Permissions. Is an address that looks to belong to Google listed there? If so, remove it from the list. Point of order: I am running SM 1.1.17, and have no Image Manager in the Tools menu (or anywhere else I can locate) in SM. Where does one find that? keith whaley Do a google image search. While the resulting thumbnails are showing look in tools. That's how I found it in 1.1.11 You need not use Google, or indeed any other site. The Image Manager -- like the Cookie Manager, Popup Manager, and Form Manager -- is available only in the browser, not in the mail program. You can access it simply by opening a blank browser window. Properly described, Paul. I see I glossed over that before, for some reason, and drew the wrong conclusion. I guess I didn't feel the need to manage anything yet, but you're totally right. Under Tools in SM's browser, one can manage Cookies, Images, Popups, Forms, Passwords and Downloads. Now, ABP (I think) causes a non-interactive (can't even copy the text) error/debug message to take up the bottom third of the browser window, and the ABP button menu entry are missing. Yep, that's SeaMonkey messing up extension registry. Adblock Plus 1.0.2 tries to work around these issues as much as possible - but really, there isn't so much you can do. Adblock Plus 1.1 (coming out today) will no longer support SeaMonkey 1.1. I sincerely recommend installing SeaMonkey 2.0b1 when it comes out (hopefully in a week) and giving it a try - despite the beta status. It should have far less issues than the current release, especially if you are using extensions. -- Wladimir Palant, Adblock Plus developer http://adblockplus.org/ ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Due to misconduct by google, I want to replace google as the default search engine, with yahoo, in seamonkey, but I cannot find how to add a search engine that is not included by seamonkey. Well in this respect SeaMonkey should work the same way as Mozilla Suite. So just use the same method you used in the old suite. Bo1953 That *.slt should be the folder which contains your profile, where the mail and bookmarks, etc., are kept. On a default install, it's also where the cache folder is for the browser page downloads (images, scripts, etc.) You've most likely got a large collection of emails and/or web page cache info. If you've thrown emails out, they've been marked as 'gone' so you don't see them in the GUI any longer, but the original raw text may still be in the files where mail is stored. Open your mail window, right-click on each folder listed and select 'Compact this folder'. If there're any lingering, hidden message texts, that should clear them out, one folder at a time. To clear the cache (assuming no plugins): from either mail or browser windows, go to Edit - Preferences - Advanced and you'll see the 'Cache' item. Set max size, location, etc., and do a manual flush with 'Clear Cache'. After all that, see how much space you've recovered from your *.slt 'file'. ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
