v1.1.16 and playing videos

I seem to have lost the ability to play videos. I click on a link and zilch. Same link plays fine in Firefox. Have tried it with both my regular profile and a test profile which has only the default settings. Help? -- Rex's Mom

sites use flash to get one's attention even when it's not a video. So when I encounter the problem, I have to switch to Firefox. Any help would be much appreciated. I do not want to transfer to FF because I do not have the time for the learning curve. TIA -- Rex's Mom
