thats your opinion. Mine is SeaMonkey's is very simple 
  and FFs is far worse than the html format

But, backup your bookmark file before trying this.  After you searched 
for them and "moved" them, delete them from the search list.

Yes, I had backed them up, and put them in a folder, which can be deleted. 
This sort of thing is "chronic" in SeaMonkey, (old) Netscape and Mozilla. I 
 consider these bookmark manager facilities minimal. I understand that 
FireFox has a better bookmark manager. If it is, then I think it's about 
time for me to move on to it and Thunderbird.
