I see the OP is using: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.23) Gecko/20090825 SeaMonkey/1.1.18 so probably won't be an issue with Dale. ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

The Content-Type header is sent by your web server (or web browser if you use the file upload interface) and depends on its configuration. Commonly, web servers will have a mapping of filename extensions (such as .html) to MIME Content-Type values (such as text/html). Looks like the validator won't work on their files. I did a view source and then saved it. Once I did that I uploaded it to the validator. The first few lines of the file said: !DOCTYPE html PUBLIC -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd; html xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml; xml:lang=en lang=en id=facebook class= no_js head meta http-equiv=Content-type content=text/html; charset=utf-8 / meta http-equiv=Content-language content=en / meta http-equiv=X-UA-Compatible content=IE=EmulateIE7 / script type=text/javascript I will try version 2.0 ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
