Hello,
I cant anymore add or delete book marks (favorites). Also there are no any
records in the chronic.
I tried everything (new installation and so on), but no change.
I need help so solve it.
Thank you in advance.

Jens, in your Browser screen, select 'Bookmarks' then select 'Manage
Bookmarks'.

This should display your Bookmarks file with all its sub-folders. If you
Right Click on a particular Bookmark, you should have the option to
Delete that Bookmark or, even, a sub-folder of bookmarks if you
were to have selected a Folder rather than a particular individual Bookmark.

Is this not working for you??

What is "chronic"?

Chronic is an adjective, not a noun. It means long-lasting.

Short for chronicle, which may be History in a different language version?

If you had bookmarks in the older version you should have them in 2.49.4.

What older version were you using?

Do you have the Bookmarks Toolbar enabled? Check View > Show/Hide and
make sure there is a check mark for the Bookmarks Toolbar.

You could also try Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks and see all your bookmarks.

If that doesn't work restore your backed up profile.

I'm not talking down to you, but do you mean to say you searched the

Do a search for bookmarks.html. If you find more than one, from
SeaMonkey, go bookmarks->Manage bookmarks then within the bookmarks
section try Tools->Import to see if the extra bookmark files are what
you want.

Thanks for your suggestion Daniel. I could not locate another
Bookmarks.html

regard
hg.
it could not hurt to widen your search by searching for "bookmarks.*".
Chances may be slim, but ...
Then, once you have done that, I suggest checking your disk for errors.
Files seldom vanish without a reason, and that reason can be a write
error. You might not recover your bookmarks (when was your last backup,
by the way?), but at least you might discover a file error and correct
it. No sense restoring or recreating bookmarks if an error is still
lurking on your disk.
