Anyone in the Dallas area that has a working small scale biofuel
production site. I'm interested in showing some of my school kids a
home engineered biofuel setup?
Thanks

Ah, this is the kind of answer I love. The 'what' and also the 'why'.
Thank you Mike.

were a set of plans, yes, down to the nuts & bolts. And I see that, in
fact, that is happening on the list. And that is good.

Okay! Big-time slap down! That's why I hate to ask anything. The

Just a thought, but having lived in Buffalo, NY I recall winter as being
very cloudy in general, lots of snow etc. Doesn't seem like the sun would
reach a solar panel on the cloudy days or through the snow covering the
vehicle.

Something is wrong. Our food is wrong, our goals are wrong, our fuel
dependence is wrong, our long-term planning is wrong (non-existant), our
cultural mindset is wrong.
And, sorry, but I believe that your take on this (below) is mis-guided at
best.

hat its the conversations here and
elsewhere (like the one with my friend in which she said she'd pass on my
biodiesel info to her son who's studying automotive technology) that will
and are making the difference.
I don't post much, but I read all the posts. Keep it up.

Maud,
I'm just acquiring an '85 Mercedes wagon (diesel, of course) with the same
goal in mind. I'd be interested in staying in touch about the ups and
downs, if you are interested. Have you done this before? Are you going to
make biodiesel or convert the car?
