Hi,
BTW several people have mentioned better REST support.
I have just tagged 0.13.0 of https://github.com/FriendsOfSymfony/FOSRestBundle
The next version is planned to be 1.0 but there are really several open issues
that need someone to look into them and I just do not have the time.

Aloha,
Its August now. 2.4 is scheduled to be released in November, so stabilization
phase starts in September [1]. In other words anything new should get done this
month. Now given what I have seen go into master since 2.3 was released,
stabilization should be quite easy going. IMHO we should
Hi,
So whats going on with all this feedback?
Might be good to compile some sort of summary and then start coordinating
efforts?

Another topic would be improvements for caching.

yeah. but it doesn't seem like the focus of their initiative. but yes drawing
inspiration from there too. ATM we are slower than I had hoped to complete
this. crossing my fingers for soon

To clarify, KNP also has a RAD edition (based on KnpRadBundle), see

Lukas,
Congrats on your RAD bundle, I look forward to seeing it in the wild. You guys
may want to start a discussion with KNP (if you have not already). Maybe there
are gains for both projects. I know KNP seems to be going down the route of
putting most of their customizations into their own
Well, there is a library that has a nice Symfony back end already (although it
is a work in progress).

Stash Bundle - https://github.com/tedivm/TedivmStashBundle
Stash has a few adaptors, such as a Doctrine one, and even contains a session
handler that

Having recently struggled with creating a REST API server, I can certainly see
the appeal of having more support worked into e.g. the Routing and/or
HttpFoundation components.
More high-level stuff sounds great in principle. I remember some time ago

There's a couple of things that I will need to figure out for ZF3 that I'd
like to push in the DependencyInjection builder: mainly inlining factory
code (tricky, but it will bring quite some performance improvements) - not
sure I'll make it for 2.4 though.
I don't know how much of the EventDispatc
Hello
Patrick Allaert already pointed out performance issues with autoloader. I
know this is Composer related but I think this can really be improved (see
patrickallaert.blogspot.be/2013/03/benchmarking-composer-autoloading.html).

Hi,
Great 2.3 is being released. Performance is very important, create the
suite of benchmarks is the right start.
So i will throw two ideas:
1) Some "lib" of string util and inflector, we have methods like camelize
on container (that don't belong there), In my opinion we should have in

Where can we find these 2.4 PRs?

Hi all,
As Symfony 2.3 is going to be released today, that also means that work
on 2.4 can start now.
We have 4 months of development, so if there is anything that you think
we need to work on (or things that you want to contribute to), that's
the right time to discuss it. Based on the topic
