Aloha, Its August now. 2.4 is scheduled to be released in November, so stabilization phase starts in September [1]. In other words anything new should get done this month. Now given what I have seen go into master since 2.3 was released, stabilization should be quite easy going. IMHO we should not then allow a frenzy of new ideas to be rushed in late so if you have something get it done this month or you will have to wait until 2.5.
