Title: Women 400m hurdles age bests
Re Ken Stones:
In addition, Sanda Farmer Patrick is set to run the 400 hurdles at Kansas.
She's 38, having been born August 8, 1962. The single-age world record for 38
is 62.82 by Leonie Louwrens of South Africa on 7-19-97. That's a soft record.

1. In a 200m the starter usually stands 3-4m behind
the guy in lane 1, which means that the inner lanes have a slight
advantage over the outer lanes during the start. But a sprinter in the outer

At 4:00 minute pace he should have covered the last 9.35 meters in about
1.4 seconds. In this race he covered the distance in 2.31 seconds.
Which would be over 6:30 pace. We've

Yeah, 6:34 pace?
Usually we have to wait until the last weekend of April to witness that kind

I'd bet it was the fingers of the zealous timers that tied-up from 'going

He was!
