Qualifying for the World Youth Meet was done at last year's JO
Nationals, with athletes wishing to compete (who had qualifying
performances) required to compete in the National Youth Meet in
Illinois. Basically, the fault lies in some combination of the USATF

specifically. Nick Katsounis, race director of the North American 10km
Wheelchair Championship, founding member of the Long Island Association
of USATF and tireless agent for disabled athletes, passed away suddenly
on January 19th.
Once again track gets bumped on TV. The Maryland Elite meet was
scheduled for 1-2 pm, but we get stuck with Temple/UMass basketball. On
