We've got average speed zones down here, with signage warning of them and
fixed, highly visible camera positions. As the cameras are fixed and
permanent, the enforcement relation fits the description perfectly well
I can't comment whether this is "proper" usage or not, but I can
illustrate how I've personally tagged lanes at freeway exits:
Take, for example, this freeway interchange close to where I grew up
(note: left-hand drive): https://goo.gl/maps/5eF35SVed452
There's no lane markings to indicate

I'd actually tag this as the name=* of the route_master

This should be considered mandatory.

As much as I'm in favour of the generic count=*, there could be cases
where it is not clear what count=* is referring to. On the

Whichever iD developer thought that adding random _N suffixes was a
good idea deserves to be taken out back and shot. While handling
newbie mistakes (and teaching them the correct way of doing things) is
most certainly encouraged, doing it in such a way that pollutes
tagging is totally
Hi,
I recently passed through an intersection in a particularly dodgy part
of town that actually had warning signs up, warning motorists that
said intersection is a hotspot for "smash and grab" robberies. (If
anyone is interested, it's on Google Streetview too:

I'm of the opinion that "visitors" is indeed the best translation to what you
have described.

Hi all,
Voting on the dynamic maxspeed proposal ended a few days ago, and I've
gone through the results: yes=6, no=2. (Real life got in the way of
my ability to do so earlier).
In my opinion, even while there is an overwhelming majority leaning
towards approval, not enough votes have been cast

While I agree such a case is rare, it is possible.

Ah, OK. That makes more sense then. (:

Hello,
A while ago, I came across the maxspeed:variable=* tag, to specify if
a highway's maximum speed could be further reduced using dynamic speed
indication. This was proposed back in 2012 as an alternative to
maxspeed=signals; the main rationale being that maxspeed=signals does
not convey any
Hi,
While I've never tagged any form of diplomatic institution, I agree
with the rationale behind your proposal. I do have some suggestions
around implementation details.
I would argue that you wouldn't need tags specifying what country the
diplomatic institution is physically located in: one
