IMHO no. It would be OK (or say: better) if there were some tags describing
that in the times of the Hanse the city was producing/trading x
Instead of deleting this instantly I would contact the author and open up a
discusssion.

Following recent discussion on talk-de I'm proposing a new place value for
single settlements (free standing single building, often farm, outside

As I am German I'm not sure if I got the right term for this in English. My

different names for it in different countries (so generic common name

In the US, I am not aware of the concept of a place name for a pair of
houses.

max. 2 households which is generally 1 single house. That could be a farm,
but also other singular
