I usually get those beeps, if it's the ones I'm thinking of that sound almost like an old Atari 2600 ame, as I'm closing a web browsing session with Internet Exploder. The tones are then followed by the death of Window-Eyes and even NVDA can't read whateer messagecomes up. Te again Iam running

What is your antivirus package? I ask because Web Root Security Anywhere does not read the desk top and this started with WE 9.2. That problem showed up on a Windows 8.1 machine and we never could get WE 9.3 installed on either of our machines. If your computer came from Best Buy recently,
