Hello. I hope this can solve your problem. I think about a month ago
some one told me of a program call gwx control panel. What it does it
gets rid of the windows 10 updates and stuff plus the get windows 10 out
of the task bar. It is completely free and accessible. I have used it it
works
The best thing I did was get windows straight from microsoft and no hp blote

The core program is 32-bit. There is currently no advantage to doing otherwise
as a 64-bit version would waste memory. All hooks and drivers are 64-bit, where
required.

In case it has not been mentioned, Becky is not a free program. You can get
a 30-day trial, though, and it is only $40 or so. It is also still being
updated, but updates seem to be done carefully, which I like. Some of us
have had some problems with Becky and Window-Eyes 9.4.0.0, particularly
But even on my 64-bit system, Window-Eyes is still installed in the
"Program Files (x86)" folder, which is for 32-bit software.

The Window-Eyes setup will install the correct bitness of its drivers and other
components as needed, depending on the host operating system and CPU
architecture.

Hi Dennis,
If you install the desktop program, you get a child folder of your user
folder in which to place your files.

If you go into "Services", right click "Windows Update," and select
"Disable," it's the same as not allowing Windows 8.1 and earlier to automaticly
prompt, download, and install updates. Before I knew this, it was the reason I
almost gave up on Windows 10, but once I discovered this
Hi,
I'm running Windows 10 on three computers in our home. I am not seeing
this constant update problem that others here are reporting. The last
windows update was over a week ago and did not cause any problems on any
of our computers. Don't live your life by fear! I look forward to the
I just meant to mention it and have someone on the list tell me if they too
were having problems.
That was then, since then this past weekend, it actually worked. So I don't
know if the link was broken and now its fixed or what.

I cannot help you but wanted to chime in here. Be careful when messing around
with that link. Supposedly if you accidently click on it, there is no turning
back. This info comes from Microsoft itself.

Totally agree. That said, however, I bought a Sony digital recorder,
and found that many of the controls weren't accessible. While I was
able to use 90% of the recorder's features, it's the principle of the
thing.--Matthew Chao

"JAWS" gives us a choice between installing a 32-bit or a 64-bit version of
their screenreader. Maybe Window-Eyes would have even less behavioral quirks
if GW Micro and AISquared can approach Window-Eyes the same way.

I was able to independently use many of the controls when HP/Beats/IDT
updated their audio software. I just purchased HP's top-of-the-line, consumer
17.3" laptop, which includes Realtek/Bang & Olufsen audio hardware and
software, but I am unable to use all of the features (such as the
64-Bit versions only detect under 3GB of memory, whether you have more or
not, which results in slower system performance, and even system
freezes/lockups. Could an additional 64-bit version of Window-Eyes help reduce
the crashes, errors, etc.?
Not sure about grouping messages in conversation, but I can give you the
link for their Web site. It is:

Hi.
I haven't used BECKY! for several weeks, so my memory may not be great.
As I recall, in the BECKY! address book, there is a "nickname" that can be
assigned for a contact. It is the nickname balue that is used by BECKY! to
auto-complete the addressee(s).
There may be other ways to do
Just google Becky email and you can check it out.

Hi, Folks. Thanks for all your help regarding my question about
attachments when using Becky. My next question: Is there an

I do this. Open Becky, go to the folder or file and hit the application key.
Arrow to "send to" and right arrow to Becky. Hit enter and a new email comes
up. Send.

Hi.
I've been using Becky for several years. It's easy to use, sort of like the
old Outlook Express. It costs $40, but all updates are free. There's a
tutorial on it. If interested, I think I have it saved somewhere.
