AMD or Intel, should be no trouble. I have run both interchangeably, with no noticeable difference. As for speed of the CPU, I would not go under 1.6, and definitely look for a duo or even quadro CPU system. When comes to memory, RAM, I would strongly recommend you don't do anything under 4GB,
