It was the file explorer sluggishness issue in Windows 10.
It wasn't a Window-eyes issue, it was a Microsoft issue. Microsoft has
addressed the file explorer issue in the later insider preview builds and the
overall responsiveness was vastly improved.

Not a speech problem but a Microsoft performance issue and, If I remember,
addressed in Windows 10.
Now that is something concrete to hang our hats on.

I did indeed send in my laptop to Ai Squared and Doug spent the better
part of a week working on it. There was no fix found at the time but as
already stated it was actually a Microsoft issue causing the
sluggishness. I have since installed the windows insider build 547 and
the sluggishness
Indeed: You sending in your machine and them working out the problem was a
good effort on both parties part.
