Since a recent recovery of my laptop, the shortcut key strokes in
browse mode,appear to be ignored until I repeat them. Does anyone

Chris, something interesting to me. I tried to do as you directed and this
is what I found. You said press Alt-A, which I did and what I got when I
arrowed upward is App central press A or App management, pull down. Nothing
else. There is no windoweyes diagnostic, etc.

Just downloaded the latest version of MalWare Bytes last night and ran
it. When it was through I tabbed to remove and all the objects found
were removed. I had a sighted friend connected to my system at the time

Ever since GW Micro rewrote Browse mode, if you press a key before a
page is loaded and your synthesizer stops reading it, the keystroke
is taken as a silence key. The second press works. If you wait for
things to settle down, the first press works. I hope GW Micro fixes

hear the books in your library hit alt and then down arrow to "open book" to
and hit enter now you should be able to press ctrl + R to read when the
reader gets to the end of the page it will stop and you can hit down arrow

panel.
This opens the Apps menu and highlights the first item, namely, App
Management, which is a pull-down menu.
