Hi, The Kindle for pc, (the accessible version and not the standard version), works partially with window-eyes, menus and books selection, and read the buttons layout can be read OK, but to hear the book you must use the kindle's internal voice.
Certainly amazon can do much better job than that. -----Original Message----- From: Talk [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tom Fairhurst via Talk Sent: Saturday, October 24, 2015 6:31 PM To: talk viaGW Subject: Kindle for PC Has anyone on this list gotten the accessible Kindle for PC program to work at all? When I open the program, nothing is displayed. The only thing the mouse sees is Register Kindle”. The Alt key produces nothing; arrow keys don’t work. With a few lucky key presses, I can sometimes get the minue items to read with Control_Numpad5. Occasionally, I get some library items to display, but I can do nothing with them. Not to mention the fact that I can’t get my PC registered. To make matters worse, I couldn’t understand the Amazon rep because of her accent and was unable to do what she was asking. _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
