I don't have Thunderbird, just Microsoft. Is it the same? I tried and nothing
happened.

After deleting any messages I just hit the status line hot key. It tells
me how many were moved from the current folder to trash followed by
unread count and total count. So if I delete all it will say, moved x
messages from current folder name to Trash, Unread 0, Total 0.

Hi:
I was getting some focus problems in desktop and in internet explorer,
sometimes the up and down arrow keys would stop working in the middle of
reading or a read to end.
I found out there is a Windows10 setting that will automatically pop up a
window from time to time that is pretty much
Thank you so much, I think I can find it. But a quick question I have is, is
there a hockey to bring up Internet explore. I can't seem to put it on my
desktop. Thank you so much, I probably have just missed the setting in the
manual. That's what happens when you get old :-) old shock in

Hi: I have been getting no messages from the talk list.
I just posted to it but nothing has hit my in-box.
I then posted to a couple of other Elists like blind programming and finance
and they hit my in-box almost immediately along with other messages coming
into my in-box.
My messages show up on
This sounds rather to be not very user friendly. The other method wasn't
broken, so why did MS, in their wisdom, fix it?

You can press the Windows key, and when Cortana comes up, type Internet, and
this will probably point you to IE. But a better way is to find out where IE
is on your taskbar. If it is the fourth item from the left, for example, you
can type the combination Windows-4 (the 4 is on the number row)
Here's how to create a desktop shortcut and/or hot key on Windows 10
1. Open the cortana search box.
2. Start typing Internet Explorer until it appears.
3. Press the Application key to open the context menu.
4. Activate "Open file location".
5. You'll land on the shortcut to IE in the Start menu
It's easy to change the default browser in Windows 10. Just hit your
windows key and that will pop up a search box. Type in default browser
and hit enter and when you hit your tab key you should hear the current
default browser. If you want to change to another browser, just enter

Hello, I am positive you told me this once before, but I didn't write it down,

But, I do not.
What hot key do you use to empty the deleted folder or any other folder for
that matter?
Thanks in advance!

So what is the status line hot key?

Another option to consider is www.messenger.com. This is Facebook's Messenger

Well, depends on what you're using. ...if you're using office 2013, press
alt and 7 to open it. ...sometimes you may have to use page up and page down
arrows to look for it, then open it.

Hi Nick!
After emptying the folder with the CTRL-A go check the trash folder.
The messages that you just deleted should wind up in the trash folder
unless you have your system set to empty trash each time you exit

I use Thunderbird, I hit control-a, then the delete key and that seems
to empty the folder but I can't verify that they are gone.

Control-Shift-S is the summary hot key. Control-Insert-S is the status line.

Hi listers,
I would like to create a folder for saving emails in Windows Live Mail. I am
using windows HP 7 on a 32bit PC and I believe the latest version of WLM with
Windows-Eyes 9.3.1. If there is instructions written somewhere, that also would
be helpful.
Cordially yours,

You put your cursor on the folder, hit the applications key and arrow up to
"empty deleted items folder", and tell it yes. Enter on it. That's the
only mailbox that has that capability like that. Pam.

Thanks, but just to clarify, generally when I "control-a" followed by
pressing the delete key, I am attempting to empty said trash folder.
I'm using POP, so do those deleted e-mails actually get wipped from my
server?

All you have to do to empty the trash folder is to move to it without
tabbing into the message list, open the context menu, and there will be
an Empty Trash option.
And with a POP account, unless you've specifically configured it to

I think that all you have to do is press delete, or maybe shift delete

Peace.

Tab to one of the folders you currently have and either right-click it with
the mouse or just press your applications key, or for that matter,
Shift-F10. Arrow down to New Folder and press Enter.
