I want to change my sound scheme, but my other scheme doesn't have the
window-eyes start / stop, and other 4 sounds in it. Where are they
stored when WE is installed?

I hear Sophos Home works well with window-eyes and is free for up to 10
users. I guess it runs like a web page. there are folks on the
blindtech and this list that use it. You have to go to their website to
download it.
I prefer something that I load to my pc from disk so I chose Vipre.
you have to use the sounds in control panel.
looke for wineyes sounds.
but you have to search for the wave files.
c:\program files x86\gwmicro\wineyes.

Hi all
I've been recently reviewing W-E settings, following a crisis which
turned out to be more to do with my graphics card than anything else.
Now, I'm getting a line of numbers above a link name, and the "like" or
"Thumbs up" emoticon is now being rendered as a series of zeros.
Any ideas?
I am typing this on a 7-year-old Toshiba laptop that cost about $700 at the
time. Had to have it repaired once when I messed up the touch strip above
the function keys.
The technology and features keep changing, so I'm not sure you can
generalize about brands very much.
I wouldn't get the

Hi Everyone,
I am having major issues with the most current version of window eyes.
My all in one computer developed some kind of issue and my computer guy had
to do a reset to windows 10. Unfortunately this caused anything not
Microsoft to be deleted from the computer.
Actually it is still "Programs and features" in Control Panel but "Apps and
features" in settings.

No better no worse than the anniversary version. WE still has bugs that
will probably never be fixed.

I think, I could be wrong, but you need to install WE 9.00 before installing
9.4.
However, since you purchased the disc, perhaps that part is taken care of
and you don't need Ver 9.0.

I'm not laughing, but I'm just saying you are extremely lucky. It never
ever caught any of the viruses or malware that were plaguing my computer.
It told me I was clean. Pam.

People will laugh, but in the latest windows 10 update, Microsoft
security essentials is pretty solid. It's accessible and it's built
right into Windows. So if you've got that, or even Windows 7 or 8.1 you
should be good. A lot of people dismiss security essentials but it's

Hi, List,
I bought and downloaded WindowEyes 9.5.4 and installed it over the top
of my 8 something version of WindowEyes. It didn't work with my
programs as well as the old version did. I didn't realize that I needed
to have version 9.3 in my PC for the upgrade to work. I had 9.5.4
Hello everyone,
My Eset license is about to expire, and I was wondering if there is a
more accessible solution. I know this has been covered before, but I
missed the thread. Thank you in advance.
