I don't know if you can be of any help to me.
3 days ago I had skype updates and when I was doing the installation it
failed and now I can't use it.
For example the commands and the setting are not working. So I uninstalled
it and installed another version, 8.25.0.5 but it remained
I use Skype on my Shiny Android toys, no problems of any kind! Still
fighting hard to LEAVE THE WINDOWS PLATFORM; a few snags still hold me back,
they are largely work related.

Sorry, but I don't know what to say. I knew the new version isn't as
accessible. So I've just been saying no to the update. But eventually
the old version is just going to stop working. At least that's what it
said today instead of just prompting me to install the update.

I've heard that Microsoft is improving the accessibility of Skype, but I'm not
sure which version this is.
I assume that they will be improving all versions on all platforms including
macOS.
Personally, I use Skype on IOS and, with patience, it is fully accessible.
