Firefox options
Hi When I bring up Firefox options, it's behaving more like a big edit field than a dialogue. Left and write arrowing where it says general just takes me through the word general character by character, so I can't access any of the tabs, particularly sinc mouse navigation doesn't work either. W-E and Firefox seem to be having a rather uneasy relationship at the moment, or did something fixable change on my system? Unable to Read Dialogs in Thunderbird
Hello everyone, I am having problems reading various windows in Thunderbird. I can read and write messages, but I can't use the mouse pointer on any window. Every time I try, it just dings at me, and every time I use control shift W to read a window, for example in a dialogue, it just reads the window title. I have found that the window is maximized, so that isn't the problem. Is there something I could have accidentally set in Thunderbird to make this happen? -- Regards, Samuel Wilkins ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. -Hi. When I open message in outlook 2010, window-eyes, or the cursor, jumps to various fields in the message window without me pressing keys. Usually it's the from or subject field. Has anyone else experienced this? I'll have to tab and shift tab to try to get back to the message body. I can't say it happens all the time, but a good majority of the time, it does. Where have all the shortcuts gone?
This thing started, I believe, yesterday. All of a sudden, my shortcuts just keep disappearing from my desktop. I can some times go to the recycle bin and find them there, but not always. I know that in XP there was a Windows function/service or something called disk cleanup or something that would go round picking things off, and I didn't like it then either. Is there anything I can do to keep this from happening? I would really rather do it myself, thank you very much. RE: Netgear Genie
Hi Joseph, I just saw your email in the gw-eyes mailing list. I myself I'm in the process to buy a new router because the one I have was originally provided to me by the ISP and unfortunately does not support the OPENDNS.COM services. I'm interesting in the same thing of parenting control but also I need to know how I can bypass the parenting filters so when I need full access I know how to do it. So If you have some sort of instructions I will be very greatful if you share them with me. The NetGear Genie software, however, does not seem to be accessible. In fact, Netgear has a thing worked out with opendns.com so that their routers have access to a couple features not normally in the free opendns.com accounts. Particularly, I was looking for the ability to set up bypass accounts to access the net when the main settings blocked a large amount of content. -Original Message- From: Don Mauck [mailto:don.ma...@oracle.com] Sent: Wednesday, July 1, 2015 12:07 PM To: Chris Grabowski; Joseph Norton; Window-Eyes Discussion List; Debbie April Yuille Subject: RE: Netgear Genie Does it work with the Net Gear router? -Original Message- From: Chris Grabowski [mailto:cgrabow...@aisquared.com] Sent: Wednesday, July 01, 2015 6:51 AM To: Joseph Norton; Window-Eyes Discussion List; Debbie April Yuille; Don Mauck Subject: RE: Netgear Genie Hi, You might check into opendns. Anyone know why this program is not accessible? Also, might there be an older version of the program that was accessible. Re: Unable to Read Dialogs in Thunderbird
The mouse pointer doesn't work if you upgrade to the latest version of Thunderbird. 38 or so. I'm running 31.7.0 and it works. I tried upgrading last week when I heard this was an issue, just to verify it. Sure enough, the mouse pointer doesn't work with 38. I rolled back the upgrade and am now back at 31.7.0. Mouse works fine again. Joe ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
