I agree with this I think having both a mac, and a windows computer is a
very smart thing to do.

I have an HP Pavilion purchased nearly two years ago, and I have very
few issues with it. Now, this may sound stupid, but where is this fn key
that people are talking about. I thought that all of the top row of
little keys were function keys.
Thank you.
Peace.

Yes Yes, I remember that Big ol Basic Calculator. I recall it was a

Hi Brenda,
I am not sure whether you realize, but you can reassign the F8 copy key under
hot keys, browse mode.
Also, I only run desktops, and all of them have a battery backup, which cost
about $50.00 and will keep your PC alive until you either power down manually,
or it will automatically

Hi robin,
I have a similar story to yours. I am now a casual home computer user
as I no longer do medical transcription. I own a 15 inch Lenovo laptop
which I purchased last spring when my Win7 pc almost died.
When I called Window-eyes Tech support to find out what to avoid with

Hi listers:
All the stuff going on in the AT market made me think back to the 80's.
Anyone remember the Speech Plus calculator from Telesensory Systems?
Back in the late 70's, it blew many of us away. We had seen calculators,
and had our sighted friends and family members demonstrate
I might think of that Chris. My last computer was a Toshiba. I just saw a

were working to sell of f and structure to stay viable. I have never really

It's a nuisence, but have you thought of using a desktop keyboard plugged
into one of the USB ports?. I have very heavy fingers which get me into
constant trouble on a laptop with very sensitive keys. It also eliminates
the problem with accidently touching the mouse pad.

Hi,
A couple years ago I purchased a Toshiba.
There were some thigs i liked.
1. Toshiba had a utility where I went in and turned off the function
key myself.
2. It has the 10 key number pad.
3. it has the applications key.
Here is the link, you can get it refurbished for about $350.00

Late last summer I got a new HP laptop. The primary thing that drew me to it
in the store was the keyboard layout of having the 10-key number pad on the
right, yet only being a 15 inch screen. What I did not realize until after I
got it home and paid money for a tech to come help me set it up
Hi. so I just updated my

Hi. Funny you should mention Jonathan Mosen!
by the way his last name is spelled
m. o. s. e. n.
He put out a pretty indepth podcast about the creator's update with
Jeff Bishop, who knows windows inside and out. It lasts over an hour, so
you can kick back and listen to the discussion.
Is there any way to delete the items from the run dialog box?

Ok, thanks.
Now what you are taling about, is that the piece of hardware that either
goes in the usbport or in the audio output for the headsets?
If correct, are they just a fix for bluetooth or they indeed a reliable
source to give your computer bluetooth cabable?
Thanks
You need Bluetooth hardware. If your computer doesn't have built in
Bluetooth, you can buy a usb adapter to give your computer Bluetooth.
