Corporate software projects can be designed to preserve silos and
inefficiency due to any so-called-valid excuse of dysfunctional middle
management (rude, but... change my mind)
OSM is a good opportunity to change practices and show some solutions that
would be really hard to provide at company scale.
So, respectably no, not like any software project please.

Bonne idée. Plus tard, on pourrait introduire les grandes classes de la

Il y a 10 classes, mais on aller plus finement.

Ce n’est pas réellement une question d’administration. Ce qui est compliqué, 
c’est de choisir les » cas » : publc , private, school, academic, corporate + 
la notion de location, pour certaines bibs (rental libraries, rental

C’est important de savoir quels « médias » sont dispos. Subject n’est pas 
clair, puisque tous les supports peuvent  porter sur les mêmes sujets.
Peut-être que « medium » (singulier de média utilisé en anglais  pour les 
moyens de communication (printed materials, records, storage medium…) serait 
meilleur que support.

Le PEB transite par les bibliothèques, mais ce n’est pas elles que le prêt est 
destiné. Le terme anglais est quand même « interlibrary lending ». (ILL).
ILL = yes (ne concerne que les bibliothèques universitaires et les grandes 
bibliothèques municipales, au moins en France).,


5 manières de « fournir » les documents, mais + ou - importantes :

consultation sur place de documents en libre accès (pratiquement partout, donc 
pouvant être zappé) > on-site consultation
consultation sur place après demande à une « banque de prêt » > On-site 
consultation on demand (obligatoire dans les archives qui sont, par nature, des 
depository libraries). 
emprunt (prêt à domicile) aprés libre accès ou demande > lending
téléchargement (musique, spectacles, podcasts, logiciels, jeux…).
prêt à d’autres bibliothèques ou organismes > concerne d’abord les «  
repository » (ex. : les bibliothèques départementales en France et les dépôts 
de livres scolaires aux US, comme celui depuis lequel  Oswald a tiré sur JFK)

Oui, je te suis. J'ai l'impression que shop=street_vendor, c'est
plutôt ou le forain régulier ou la baraque (à
pizza/chichi-fregi/sandwich/etc), mais pour le second cas, si j'ai
bien compris, il y a shop=kiosk ?


Je ne connaissais pas mais non ça c'est en dur. Je parlais d'un truc
style caravane : mobile mais de facto immobile à la belle saison.

Jako dalsi v poradi muzes zkusit docasne povypinat pluginy.

Kazdopadne to hlaseni rika, ze se ti nejak povedlo dostat dataset do 
nekonzitentniho stavu, kdy se odkazujou prvky, ktery tam nejsou. Parkrat 
se mi  povedlo neco podobnyho, ale nijak zvlast sem to teda neresil, 
proste sem ozelel nejaky ty zmeny a cely to bez ulozeni smaznul. Pokud 
ses schopen to idealne kdykoli a s posledni vyvojovou verzi nejak 
zreplikovat, tak nareportuj bug kam napis postup jak docilit rozbiti.


Muze to byt uz opraveny v novejsich verzich, tohle je takova ukazka 
rizik pouzivani dev verze ;D.

Creare una relazione, ad esempio di un percorso, ha il vantaggio di poter
scaricare il relativo file gpx UNICO. Se si lasciano anche gli altri
elementi, il file si presenta spezzettato e praticamente inservibile. Mi
chiedo quale altro utilizzo possano avere le relazioni se non quello di
essere scaricate od elaborate successivamente: io fatico a creare una
relazione omogenea e qualche altro mappatore ci metterà del suo, o no?

[talk-cz] Označené křižovatky

Byl jsem dneska v Průhonicích v parku a mají tam označené křižovatky.

Na jejich mapičce to vypadá takto:

V realitě to je dřevěný patník v křižovatce cest na kterém je vyryto 
číslo a je tam případně plechová ikona (to co je zelené na tom plánku) a 
šipka.


Je to guidepost? To číslo dát do ref nebo do name? Nebo do obého?

oui je trouve effectivement que street_vendor=yes permet de garder 
l'activité principale (par exemple amenity=fast_food et les "stands" sur 
les marchés shop=clothes, butcher, ...).


D'ailleurs c'est grâce à ce brouillon de page ici 
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:shop%3Dstreet_vendor qui 
"renvoie" sur street_vendor=yes si on connaît l'activité.

Il est en "tout le temps" là, un soir ou une matinée ou les deux par 
semaine, toujours le même jour. Ça pourrait être considéré comme un 
restaurant temporaire régulier.


shop=street_vendor me semble moins bon (en tant qu'utilisateur je vais 
chercher à me restaurer plutôt que chercher un commerce nomade qui vend 
des produits alimentaires !).


Oui, je te suis. J'ai l'impression que shop=street_vendor, c'est plutôt 
ou le forain régulier ou la baraque (à pizza/chichi-fregi/sandwich/etc), 
mais pour le second cas, si j'ai bien compris, il y a shop=kiosk ?

Il tuo esempio è una ferrovia abbandonata con le ex-stazioni ferroviarie
come nodi.
Cosa che mi sembra corretto, anche se ci sono opinioni diversi come farlo.
Io, per esempio ho utilizzato per una cosa analoga una site relation, che
mi sembrava più adatta: ex-ferrovia Treviso-Ostiglia.

Un altro tipo sono segnavia in relazioni di hiking (standard da poco per i
sentieri CAI)

Sicuramente non sono elementi da rimuovere senza consultazione con che gli
ha inseriti.

[Talk-it] Relazioni con elementi eterogenei

Mi capita spesso di imbattermi in relazioni che comprendono elementi diversi;
ad esempio nella relazione id 10.908.967 sono presenti strade, linee ferrate
edifici ecc. Finora ho corretto rimuovendo gli elementi "estranei". Ho fatto
bene?

shop=street_vendor me semble moins bon (en tant qu'utilisateur je vais
chercher à me restaurer plutôt que chercher un commerce nomade qui vend
des produits alimentaires !).

Ce n'est pas parce que Mateusz n'a pas lancé de vote, qu'il ne faut as
en lancer un.

Sono d'accordo con Martin. Non mi sembra giusto scrivere un cartello 
così. Al massimo potevano scrivere un generico "non usare il navigatore" 
oppure qualcosa d'altro. Un problema simile l'avevano avuto per tanti 
anni nella nostra provincia, dove ogni tanto i camion si inchiodavano in 
una strada stretta, in curva e in discesa, dopo aver usato il navigatore 
che gli segnalava la "scorciatoia". Non vi dico ogni volta quante ore di 
strada chiusa e camion di pompieri che lavorano per trascinare il camion 
fuori (indietro) dalla strettoia ed ogni volta spigoli e muri delle case 
distrutti. La prima cosa che hanno fatto è stato segnalare con cartelli 
la strada stretta, ma non sevi a niente. Poi per due anni un pezzo della 
strada è stata fatta s senso unico, ora di nuovo a doppio senso e 
cartelli che segnalano e divieto per camion, vedi qui:

Non penso sia legale (in Italia) fare un cartello che dice "non andate

Avrebbero potuto prendere 10 software di navigazione e metterli a 
confronto, descrivere i problemi e contattare pubblicamente i produttori.
Non metto in dubbio che Google sia stata avvisata e che ci abbia messo 
troppo tempo ad intervenire, ma continuo ad essere sfavorevole...

Det slog mig att det här kanske inte är det importprojekt som planerades i
vintras, utan ett separat projekt med samma/liknande mål. Om det var en
förhastad slutsats att det är samma projekt får jag be Atakua om ursäkt.
Oavsett hur det är med den saken är det problem med den import som nu
genomförs.

[Talk-africa] State of OpenStreetMap in Africa Survey

Hi everyone,

I am conducting a survey with all OpenStreetMap communities in Africa to
try to understand the State of OpenStreetMap in their countries. The
results will be presented at a talk[1] I will be giving at the State of the
Map 2020 online conference.

You are invited to participate in the survey[2] if you are a member of an
OSM community in any country in Africa.

I am also looking out for contacts of the OSM community in the following
countries, kindly share if you know anyone.

Certo! Ma non vedo perché fare cattiva pubblicità ad un prodotto... Non
penso sia legale (in Italia) fare un cartello che dice "non andate da
McDonald's"?
Avrebbero potuto prendere 10 software di navigazione e metterli a
confronto, descrivere i problemi e contattare pubblicamente i produttori.
Non metto in dubbio che Google sia stata avvisata e che ci abbia messo
troppo tempo ad intervenire, ma continuo ad essere sfavorevole...

Fatto sta che usano in molti google maps che non riesce a risolvere i problemi 
in tempi ragionevoli, quindi si sono visti costretti ad avvertire i passanti 
del problema per “risolvere” il loro problema concreto.

Per questo comune il prodotto G pare non sia soddisfacente ;-)
