[Talk-ca] NRCan lakes

Hello

I am a contributor from Toronto and I have a question regarding how to
treat some of the CanVec 6.0 - NRCan imports, specifically for lakes.
I came across this lake here:

Which is strangely split up into 3 parts and I wonder how to proceed:
should we fix this and create a single way out of these 3 parts or is
it beneficial (for comparison to future NRCan database entries) to
keep them that way and create a relation out of the three? Also, does
somebody know why the NRCan dataset does this, is this an import
artefact (splitting into tiles?) and should be corrected when encountered
or is it part of the original dataset?

Sobre las aguas territoriales.

Si no recuerdo mal, la política de OSM respecto a fronteras en disputa es
mostrar las fronteras no según reclamaciones territoriales sino según el
status-quo de control en la zona.

Por lo que sé, España patrulla y ejerce el control sobre las aguas
territoriales de Ceuta y Melilla, aunque podría estar equivocado.

Hello,

Un peu de contexte, je me suis rendue compte que je n'en avais pas donné 
beaucoup, dsl! Ma question intervient dans le cadre d'un projet 
polynésien à origine bretonne "CartoMobilité" (je pense qu'une partie 
ici en a entendu parlé, projet porté par Louis Julien à Brest, essaimé 
dans différents endroits de France). Notre version polynésienne 
s'appelle "Cartomobil 'ite" ou ite renvoit à la connaissance... Notre 
objectif = avoir/mettre à dispo une carte web limitée à Tahiti/Moorea 
(en Polynésie française) qui permette de visualiser et contribuer dans 
OSM (et dans une base libre indépendante quand c'est nécessaire) sur 
l'accessibilité fauteuil roulant manuel dans un premier temps. Ce projet 
est (évidemment) monté/pensé avec les premiers concernés. J'ai aussi 
fait un recensement des besoins avec les référents au handicap au 
gouvernement local, et les responsables d'assocs travaillant sur la 
problématique du handicap. Les aveugles n'y voient que peu d’intérêt, et 
ils étaient tous enclins à commencer sur la problématique fauteuil 
roulant. C'était là ou il y avait le plus de demandes, une loi...(la 
Polynésie francaise est un territoire autonome et dispose de ses propres 
lois pour un nombre de sujets)


Pour avoir parcouru le doc "SIG & Accessibilité Cartographie de 
l’accessibilité de la chaîne du déplacement Rapport du partenariat 2018 
- 2019", qui tente de dessiner un standard sur l'accessibilité (groupe 
de travail piloté par le Cerema), on peut dire qu'on a un paquet de tags 
manquants dans OSM, et qu'ils ne s'attachent pas à réduire la quantité. 
Donc pourquoi pas un tag sur le service; je ne vous embête pas encore 
avec la chaîne de cheminement... (largeur de passage utile, dévers... ). 
Tout ça pour dire qu'avoir des tags plus nombreux mais plus fin, c'est 
mieux qu'un tag fourre-tout, d'après moi encore une fois...


Ce que j'essaie d'expliquer c'est que de toute façon ça va être 
difficile de faire rentrer chaque handicap dans un tag, et que pour 
être vraiment utile, il faut compléter avec un tag description.
C'est déjà le cas, avec blind, ou alors je ne comprends pas ce que tu 
entends par la... Une autre vision est de qualifier au mieux avec 
wheelchair, détailler le pourquoi dans description (tout en restant dans 
le cadre de wheelchair) et spécifier dans des tags désaggrégés (par 
exemple, wheelchair=yes prend en compte le fait que l'entrée soit 
accessible, je rajoute un point au niveau de la porte d'entrée, et des 
informations sur la largeur de la porte, si elle est automatique ou non 
etc).


On pourrait avoir quelque chose comme wheelchair=yes + 
wheelchair:description="activité parapente accessible pour les 
personnes avec tonicité et sans respirateur"


La définition sur le wiki de wheelchair dit : "Indique si le lieu peut 
être utilisé avec un fauteuil roulant". Pour moi c'est du détournement 
de tag de rajouter un info supplémentaire dans description.
Et comme l'idée c'est de catégoriser / structurer la donnée pour 
permettre son analyse/visualisation après, et que l'outil a pour but 
d'être utilisé (au moins à Tahiti/Moorea), je ne me vois pas utiliser le 
tag wheelchair:description. Il vaudrait mieux je crois un nouveau tag.




Pour avoir l'expérience d'un système similaire au tiralo 
, il peut-être aussi utilisé par des personnes 
ayant plutôt des handicaps mentaux ou neurologiques mais qui marche.

Comment décrire ça avec des tags avec des valeurs yes/no ?

Avoir le dispositif adapté c'est bien (tiralo 
 pour la baignade, tandemflex 
 pour le ski, une escargoline 
 pour 
le la rando pédestre ou avec un âne…)…

Avoir le sytème de "transfert" c'est mieux ;)
j'irais vers un truc du genre service=tiralo et 
service:wheelchair=yes/no/limited, ou service:wheelchair indique 
l'accessibilité au matériel (ici celà incluerait la barre de transfert). 
C'est ce qu'on a pour les toilettes dailleurs..

Hello again, Martijn:  This might not be a perfect fit, but perhaps helpful.  I 
(and others) have refined how TIGER data for rail in the USA might or should be 
"Reviewed" (cleaned up over the long term) at

Like TIGER data themselves, this is rather rough, but it has proven to "get the 
job done," even as it might do so slowly.

If you could make a similar write-up (text-based instructions of your workflow 
to clean up TIGER data, whether roads, rail or whatever) that gets shared 
widely, I think many people might find that helpful.  It is the experience of 
what people do and how they do it that makes for this sort of transfer of 
experience at "how to map" quite successful in OSM.  I've seen it, it works and 
people tend to not only like it, they sort of crave it.

"When the student is ready, the teacher arrives."  Sometimes this is a "live 
streaming JOSM editing session," (great!), sometimes it's a "here are the steps 
of my workflow, read them, re-create them at your own pace, I hope you can 
learn from my examples."

You never know!

But got stopped again running out of space trying to import
north-america-latest.osm.pbf (approx 10 Gb pbm file).

I had a 256 Gg SSD added and moved both the osm user and the postgresql
data files to it. The failure was at approx 147 Gb pgsql and 60 Gb osm.

So, which should I move away? If I had my choice I would keep the pg on SSD
for serving, but is there enough space?

I can get a larger single SSD up to 1 Tb but my budget is not unlimited.
Does anyone have ball-park figures available on space really needed during
and after import?

[Talk-GB] UPRNs & INSPIRE Polys

Many of you may have seen a tweet
 from Owen
Boswarva last night. It's prompted me to do what I planned to do anyway.

Owen looked at West Bridgford, a suburb/town within Greater Nottingham, and
found 77% of INSPIRE polygons could be directly associated with a single
UPRN. West Bridgford is a wealthy area and predominantly owner-occupied
houses, although there are some blocks of flats.

I've repeated this for Nottingham which has much more social housing. There
are in total 102.5k polygons for Nottingham, of which 77k contain only a
single UPRN. I then linked those to UPRNs I'd already linked to OSM
buildings and joined the two datasets. I retained 26.5k polygons, or about
a third of the candidates. I tweeted
 some images.

I've only used addresses on building polygons: a significant proportion of
addresses are still mapped, or will continue to be mapped, as nodes.
Extending the matching to use these would, I anticipate increase the
matched proportion to 50% or slightly better.

In some areas improving alignment of OSM data would also make a difference.
One of the main things I notice is that it highlights fairly simple
improvements one can make in OSM data.

Polygon coverage is very high: the things which I've noticed missing are :
churches, some public open space, allotments (of great antiquity), some
schools, almshouses, railway land, and Army Reserve Centres. At least one
set of allotments has separate INSPIRE polygons for each plot. Large
polygons in residential areas tend to be leasehold or social housing
landlords.

Problème sur "le bleu" (le manque de bâtiments) est corrigé.

J'ai remis à jour les données carroyées à partir de celles publiées 
dernièrement pas l'INSEE, qui datent de 2015 (on n'avait que des 
données 2010 avant cette mise à jour).


C'est donc corrigé et plus à jour qu'avant !

You may have been caught by the current heavy development affecting GDAL and 
PROJ  in the spatial field. 

The LTS releases of various linuxes are significantly behind on this, and the 
projects that use GDAL and PROJ as upstream are catching up slowly. There are 
major changes.

My Ubuntu bionic (due for upgrade to Focal shortly) claims to have a current 
GDAL - using an ubuntigis unstable repo, but that's behind as well - I'm on 
GDAL 3.04 while upstream is 3.11.

Just as a follow-up note, I tried it with a fresh install of GDAL on a 
different server and it works fine. So there clearly was something odd 
about the version I'd originally used. But that's immaterial now, 
fortunately.

I've been running 'Streaming JOSM' sessions on Tuesday evenings for the 
past couple of weeks and I am planning to do at least one more tomorrow 
at 7pm Mountain time[0].


The original idea stemmed from a tweet about cleaning up TIGER[1] and 
that is what I have been streaming the past couple of weeks.


I would like to do something different and would love to hear your 
suggestions. What would you like to watch me map? (Assuming you'd be 
interested in watching a random person map OSM in the first place...)

calculation.  We'd need to add code that periodically checks if it should

in Basildon (my local area) are a few years out of date with some service such 
as the 5 and 8Ahaving been  withdrawn and the route 2 being renumbered 28

As the wiki says, you can't rely on this without further enquiry.  The 
problem is that it only gives rights to intellectual property owned by 
the government, and datasets often include intellectual property from 
other organisations, e.g. TfL in this case.

I've been reading about the geopackage file format used for encoding 
UPRN and USRN data and played with the databases a bit. Below is a 
summary of what I've learned.


Geopackage files are really sqlite databases with a gpgk extension. The 
extension can be downloaded from 
https://bitbucket.org/luciad/libgpkg/src/default/ and compiled. The 
extension is needed for accessing geometry values (blobs), a similar 
concept to the one used by the mod_spatialite extension but not 
compatible with it.


The gpgk_contents table serves as a main entry point specifying the name 
of the table containing data, last change date, spatial extents along 
with a spatial reference system (here EPSG27700/OSGB1936).


Gpgk_geometry_columns specifies names of the table+column holding 
geometric data, their types, their spatial reference system, z 
(elevation) and m (measure) values. The latter two are not used in these 
files.


Gpkg_spatial_ref_sys provides definitions of WGS84 and OSGB1936 
reference systems, only the latter is used by the data tables.


Gpkg_tile_matrix and gpkg_tile_matrix_set tables are empty, no 
pre-generated tiles.


Tables with names starting with rtree_ are spatial indices for geometric 
data. This is defined by an extension to GeoPackage 
(http://www.geopackage.org/spec120/#extension_rtree) - I haven't tried 
using this feature yet.


1. UPRN file

This file contains UPRNs and their locations (Point) in the 
osopenuprn_address table. In addition to the GEOM field containing point 
coordinates it duplicates the coordinates in separate fields in both 
OSGB1936 and WGS84 formats. So, if necessary, this file can be used 
without the pgkg extension. Unfortunately, despite fancy packaging it is 
still "a proprietary number+coordinates" data format, so, unless there 
are additional open data available specifying the meaning of each UPRN, 
UPRNs are (IMHO) only useful as a reference.

Come sai, lo vedo come scritto da Rossella, il nostro punto di forza è di avere 
dati che la PA non ha. Nella realtà siamo comunque troppo pochi, e avere i 
civici ufficiali non ci toglie la possibilità di correggerli (non sono più 
quelli ufficiali a quel punto, ma rispecchierebbe di più la “verità” sul campo, 
nei casi che la “realtà” fosse diversa dai dati ufficiali, questi sono comunque 
le eccezioni, per lo più quello che si vede nei dati ufficiali è congruo con le 
targhe che si vedono) e di rivelare altri dati.

In ogni caso, dove i civici ci sono, disponibili in open data (come anche i 
confini amministrativi), sono favorevole all’importazione. Troppo oneroso e 
noioso farlo da solo. A Roma, dove non ci sono, stiamo facendo fatica a 
rivelarli tutti, sono sempre rivelazioni puntuali, ancora non siamo ad un buon 
punto. La stima è che sono 50 a Roma, e ne abbiamo 338000 in tutto il 
centro italia, compreso Firenze ecc.

I use the opendata to compare with OSM to identify any changes to routes that 
include any bus stops within the Tendring, Colchester and Maldon districts of 
Essex, then manually update. I usually do this weekly. The app I use to compare 
the data is in github, but I've got a feeling "Add Area" is buggy, and is 
definitely untested since I made a recent change to folder structures so it 
only downloaded the TDNS zips if they were newer than the local copy. I'll see 
if I can get to that tonight (as in test adding Basildon as an area), though 
might not get to it as I'm also ploughing through Tendring district pub social 
media pages for Tendring CAMRA to see what has reopened, or has a planned date 
to reopen, or has said they don't have a date, or haven't posted since March, 
and sorting my town and pun I'm only up to Frinton...

I do document the routemaster relations and when they were last checked on an 
OSM wiki page.

My understanding is that TfL doesn't licence the information on a basis
that would allow it to be directly used, so OSM rely on members of the
public using the buses, or tracing the routes between bus stops.

How up to date the information is depends on how enthusiastic people are
in an area, and there tends to be a preference for mapping things for
the first time over maintaining existing mapping.

Hi Matthew,

Bus routes are mapped using relations to associate the stretches of roads that 
they run along. As others have said, how up to date they are depends on how 
enthusiastic the (usually) local contributors are on maintaining this kind of 
data. It’s not automatic.

As of today the help site seems to be working again but only a few days 
back it had been seeing the same problem again for several weeks. Who 
knows what is causing these periodic failures. So I'm looking forward to 
your monitoring and any possible short-term solution.


But even if this immediate JS/usability problem can be fixed there are 
still so many smaller annoyances that before long we should still look 
into migrating the site to a newer software.

Since Tobias Wrede started this thread in May, the Ops group has
discussed the Help site during our regular meetings. We understand
the importance of the Q site and acknowledge that the software
running it is old and under-maintained.

In addition to the possibility of moving the site to a new
platform like the ones mentioned in this thread, we’ve also
verified that all past Q content can be archived [1] regardless
of future platform and talked about potential underlying causes of
the frontend script problems some users have experienced [2].
Currently, the Ops group has two initial conclusions:

1) We aren’t able to confirm the extent of the Javascript problems
described in this thread because we lack a front-end monitoring
that would provide this information. Our existing monitoring
extensively covers the underlying server, shenron [3], alongside
superficial uptime measurements [4].

2) The Q server is shared by Trac and SVN services which are
being deprecated over the next month [5]. Deprecating Trac and SVN
will allow us to better isolate and observe problems that Q is
experiencing, and perhaps solve them by removing these competing
services on one of OSM’s older pieces of hardware.

Over the next two months, I’ll be watching the thread [2] for
reports of new failures. If these continue past August when SVN
and Trac have been deprecated, we’ll add monitoring to better
understand their cause and determine what work may be needed to
fix or migrate OSM’s Q site.

Hi Jez

To clarify, what I did was to find a 'suspicious' UPRN (two pins on one 
building with different address details). I then looked up the address 
on an online system (e.g. OneScotlandGazetteer or the local authority 
online Planning system) to check the details (UPRN and address). That 
allowed me to have details, which in this instance I then checked 
property sites (e.g. ESPC) to verify the 'likely' error.


If you want more details of the example, let me know and I can put a bit 
more detail together.

Me paso por aquí para apoyar la causa contra las ediciones dañinas de jlcc78. 
Para ello, voy a comentar 10 changesets suyos, desde el dia 28 de junio de 2020 
indicando los daños causados por cada uno de ellos.

  *   87245464: Cambio del nombre de un tramo de la N-6 a "Carretera de Madrid 
- La Coruña" cuando el nombre oficial es "Carretera de Madrid a A Coruña"
  *   87245778: Mismo cambio del nombre, a diferencia de que en este tramo el 
nombre con "La Coruña" ya existía usando "name:es=", etiqueta que ha eliminado
  *   87299639: Después de haber sido revertidos sus cambios, comete el error 
de nuevo intencionadamente y se dirige de forma agresiva al reversor en el 
título del changeset, aunque aún no procede a insultar. 3 usuarios le informan 
comentando al changeset que el nombre oficial es "A Coruña", y que por tanto 
será revertido de nuevo.
  *   87337487: Traduce de nuevo el topónimo de "A Coruña" y elimina la 
etiqueta "name:es=". Se produce la primera amenaza en el título del changeset 
"te estoy esperando".
  *   87340069: Repite la traducción de la vía. Para encubrir su vandalismo, 
indica que arregla unas edificaciones. Al "arreglar" dichas edificaciones, 
vuelve a dañar el mapa, eliminando los ya existentes y dibujandolos de nuevo, 
perdiendo el historial de estes y, además, dibujando de forma incorrecta. 
Vuelve a dirigirse al usuario que revierte en el título del changeset diciendo 
"no me des la paliza".
  *   87343628: Ahora, comienza a traducir el nombre de la "Autovía de las Rías 
Baixas" a "Autovía de las Rías Bajas", es decir, sustituye el "name=" por el 
"name:es=". Además elimina la traducción al gallego "name:gl='Autovía das Rías 
Baixas'". De nuevo para encubir su vandalismo fascista, con afán de eliminar 
cualquier topónimo gallego del mapa, realiza ediciones en un pueblo cercano que 
en este caso sí podrían ser correctas. Dos usuarios le informan del error 
cometido y que el changeset será revertido.
  *   87349241: El usuario procede a traducir otra vez la N-6, encubriendo de 
nuevo su vandalismo al eliminar edificios y dibujarlos de nuevo. En el título 
del changeset vuelve a dirigirse al usuario que revierte con "¿Vas a dar la 
paliza?". Aquí se procede a avisarle de una forma mas extensa a ver si entra en 
razón.
  *   87367055: De nuevo, traduce la N-6 y elimina el "name:gl="
  *   87367121: Vuelve a traducir la N-6, pero esta vez elimina el "name:eu=" 
demostrando que lo único que busca es deshacerse de las lenguas cooficiales 
como el Gallego o Euskera e instaurar el Castellano a nivel nacional cual 
franquismo.
  *   87367178: Vuelve a traducir la N-6.

Estos 10 changesets, no son ni mucho menos los mas graves de este usuario, pero 
he decidido comentar estos para que se puedan seguir todos desde el dia 28 de 
junio de 2020, día en el se publico el changeset que comenzó la crispación con 
este usuario, hasta ahora, de forma ordenada en este hilo. Por ello os sugiero 
que lo sigais comentando otros 10 changesets cada uno a poder ser, para poder 
completarlos todos, y que el DWG se de cuenta de daño que está causando este 
usuario y de forma intencionada.

Comentar también que estoy bastante decepcionado con la actuación del DWG, 
cargando contra los usuarios de la comunidad española que están dedicando su 
tiempo a corregir el daño causado por este usuario. Entiendo que el DWG es un 
equipo voluntario también, pero por ello deberían de ser los primeros en 
entender lo frustrante que es ver como alguien destroza trabajo de otros de 
forma reiterada.

Qui a Bergamo non ci sono civici assegnati a parcheggi ci sono passi
carrabili numerati ma non sono parcheggi
ho sotto mano gli open data del comune di Bergamo e non e presente nessun
parcheggio numerato.

Conosco dei parcheggi privati che hanno un loro civico, quindi direi che
non è sbagliato a prescindere.
Se hanno un civico impostato forse sarebbe meglio lasciarlo o chiedere a
qualcuno che conosca il luogo.
Se invece hanno l'indirizzo senza il civico credo sia meglio rimuoverlo
totalmente e non lasciare refusi come cap, street, ecc.

Senza un riferimento ad un ndo/changeset non si capisce bene quali dati ci
siano e quali siano eventualmente da rimuovere...

Ciao Luigi,
non so se questa risposta possa confondere le idee, ma vorrei solo
allargare le vedute.
A Firenze esistono casi in cui il civico è stato assegnato a stalli di
sosta privati (non ad accessi a un'area vasta a parcheggio, ma proprio al
rettangolino di 2,5m x 5m di proprietà privata, catastalmente identificato
da foglio, particella e subalterno).
Ciò perché il civico è funzionale al rilascio di un passo carrabile,
chiaramente in deroga ai regolamenti Istat che invece prevedono di numerare
i soli ingressi/accessi. Chiaramente così funziona a FI, non è detto che
sia la regola per tutti i comuni.
In OSM alcuni di questi civici potrebbero essere presenti, perché i civici
di Firenze sono stati importati in maniera massiva dagli open data... Un
rilevatore non li avrebbe mai inseriti semplicemente perché non è presente
nessuna targhetta/indicatore di civico.

My understanding is that TfL doesn't licence the information on a basis 
that would allow it to be directly used, so OSM rely on members of the 
public using the buses, or tracing the routes between bus stops.


How up to date the information is depends on how enthusiastic people are 
in an area, and there tends to be a preference for mapping things for 
the first time over maintaining existing mapping.

[Talk-GB] New Bing Imagery

Quite recently new very high quality imagery has appeared in a few places
on Bing:

   - South Lakeland extending over the fells at Scafell & Bowfell includes
   Askham-in-Furness, Grange-over-Sands, Arnside, Kendal
   - a swathe extending from Wigan, N of Rochdale and across to
   Huddersfield, full extent not known

Good imagery of similar quality  for Gosport has been available for a while.

It's probably worth looking for other similar updates.

that looks as if it is in the wrong location (wrong postcode 6BT > 6ST ~ 
and wrong county). If I am correct, then this demonstrates the value of 
opening up data to more 'eyes'. Not sure how we could collate all lists 
of anomalies to demonstrate this to government.

Meh. 3 hours in, every possible lead I had didn't bring me closer to
setting up the UPRN data in the same way.

Having 6 GiB of GeoPackage or 2 GiB of MySQL data doesn't make working
with the data any easier.

I will look out for help from the GeoServer people during the week,
watch this space :)

I went for the crude approach as my computer is not that powerful, so I 
split the CSV into chunks and imported batches into QGIS with 
county/postcode boundaries as my interest is trying to understand how 
the UPRNs have been batched. Not elegant but means that I now can focus 
on our area and identify those UPRNs that are most useful to me for 
plotting missing rural properties. I can then write a script to only 
give me those UPRNs of interest. As I say, crude but useful to me as I 
can now start to match addresses to UPRN when I add properties.

fieldpapers? Secondo lo scopo e tema del survey (e quello che c'è), i
fieldpapers possono essere un'alternativa valida ad un approccio
tecnologico. Lo svantaggio è che devi poi fare tanto a casa, ma il
vantaggio è che con un mouse e JOSM si lavora meglio rispetto ad un
cellulare o tablet (al meno io mi trovo meglio). Se devi per esempio
modificare geometrie complesse (MP) oppure digitalizzare tante geometrie,
da casa sarei sicuramente più veloce.
Anche se lavori in gruppi meno esperti, si troveranno meglio (più veloci)
con carta e penna.

Mentre mi piace wikishootme in teoria, in pratica non è legato ad OSM (o
meglio, ho trovato centinaia fontanelle "miei" a Roma che qualcuno ha
importato in wikidata senza citare la fonte (e senza creare un legame da
OSM), quindi se aggiungo le foto lì non si agganciano automaticamente agli
oggetti. Invece c'è il progetto https://europeanwaterproject.org/ che
consente si scattare una foto (di solo fontanelle e altri fonti di acqua
potabile) e dopo qualche giorno le sincronizzano con OSM (mettono il tag
image=http.), anche se in questo caso non è visibile chi è l'autore. Mi
hanno anche promesso di caricare le foto su wikimedia commons "a fine anno
/ in autunno".

Invece creare gli oggetti "a mano" in commons e creare poi i tag OSM sempre
"a mano" lo trovo tanto laborioso, anche se poi il risultato è migliore.

Visto che https://europeanwaterproject.org/ tratta uno dei miei temi
preferiti, lo consiglio anche a voi ;-) ma chiaramente non è universale.

Radio 4 have certainly covered OSM in the past. Kat Arney attended a hack day 
in London back in 2013 iirc and interviewed a few participants: Robert Scott 
was the one who made it to the on-air programme.

 

Something like a segment on Countryfile about footpath mapping might work, but 
having seen this happen it requires a great deal of legwork beforehand.

su questo c’era una breve discussione la settimana scorsa in occasione di una 
proposta di edit automatico (bocciata?). 
url non va molto bene, per un’immagine utilizzerei image oppure forse 
wikimedia_commons (usato di meno).
La proposta prevedeva la distinzione tra categorie e immagini (attualmente si 
trova di tutto). Direi che la discussione sarebbe da riprendere, ma se metti le 
url delle immagini in uno dei tags di sopra, dovrebbe andare bene.

Estimados colegas,

Abro este hilo para que se pueda debatir las ediciones que ha llevado a
cabo el usuario @jlcc78 en las últimas semanas [0] y para enlazar con los
correos que se han tomado en otro hilo [1].

Se ha debatido y se ha escrito mucho en el grupo de mensajería instantánea
(Telegram/Riot [2]) pero como no me canso de decir constantemente ESE NO ES
FORO para ese tipo de cuestiones. ESTE ES EL FORO.

Las ediciones y la guerra de ediciones que ha desatado @jlcc78 ha llevado a
que se llegue a pedir la suspensión temporal de este usuario pero no se ha
escrito una sola línea de él en este foro.

Mi opinión personal es que este usuario ha realizado una serie de cambio en
la base de datos de OpenStreetMap de manera unilateral, sin seguir las
indicaciones de la comunidad y contraviniendo algunos acuerdos que ya
estaban marcados. A sus ediciones, se ha sumado un tono agresivo y
descalificador contra otros editores y  esto está llevando a un tono de
crispación dentro de la comunidad que NO ES TOLERABLE.

Animo a que cualquier usuario de la comunidad y a la gente del Data Working
Group (DWG) a seguir los comentarios y los debates que se han suscitado en
torno a algunas de las ediciones de este usuario para poder poner sobre la
mesa la preocupante situación que se ha desatado.

Yo ya he comunicado en privado y en la discusión a algún conjunto de
cambios del usuario @jlcc68 que debían seguirse las pautas marcadas en la
comunidad y sobre todo, que esas NO son formas en la comunicación.

Espero que podamos volver a la cordura y el sentido común y podamos unirnos
en lo que nos gusta e intentar olvidar las cuestiones que nos separan
tomando consciencia que muchas de las decisiones que se puedan llegar a
tomar puede que no nos terminen de convencer pero, entretanto, estamos
haciendo crecer el mapa.

Os invito, en tono sosegado y constructivo (POR FAVOR NADA DE
DESCALIFICACIONES) a continuar este hilo con vuestros comentarios.

Estimado yopaseopor,

Aun pudiendo estar o no de acuerdo con parte de lo que escribes en tu
correo quiero pedirte que no uses ese lenguaje en la comunicación con el
resto de la comunidad.

Me consta que muchos de los insultos y el lenguaje agresivo que has usado
no es directamente tuyo si no de las propias palabras y comentarios del
usuario @jlcc78 (el que suscribe el primer correo de este hilo, supongo)
pero este no era ni el momento ni el hilo.

Os rogaría, como le he pedido en privado a @jlcc78 que elimineis ese tono
agresivo y desapruebo, y creo que el resto de la comunidad me apoya pues es
de sentido común, que se utilicen insultos o descalificaciones en la
comunicación que nos llega a todos.

Tampoco este es el foro para tratar otros asuntos fuera de OpenStreetMap.

Así mismo, pues parece necesario, voy a abrir un hilo exclusivo para
debatir las ediciones y contra ediciones que se ha desatado con los cambios
que ha habido con el usuario en cuestión pues considero que este hilo es
para tratar el tema de las aguas en torno a Ceuta y Melilla.

Problème sur "le bleu" (le manque de bâtiments) est corrigé.

J'ai remis à jour les données carroyées à partir de celles publiées 
dernièrement pas l'INSEE, qui datent de 2015 (on n'avait que des données 
2010 avant cette mise à jour).


C'est donc corrigé et plus à jour qu'avant !
