VIBE is a group of blind and partially sighted musicians and for anyone
interested in accessible music, audio and music technology,

Whether you sing or play for leisure, study or as a profession, in any
genre, VIBE will put you in touch with others who can answer questions
or suggest solutions, and generally help each other out.We have covered
topics including performance, visual presentation, online promotion,
tips for playing different instruments, and access to music and audio
software and equipment.

The simplest way to join is via the Email group. We also run monthly
Zoom events, and the next one will be presented by André Louis, the
accomplished keyboard player and music tech trainer, who will talk about
Komplete Kontrol, the accessible way to use software synthesisers, the
Logic digital audio workstation (DAW), and Jamulus, which lets musicians
play together online without the usual time-lag problems. This will be on
Friday 18 December from 11 to 12:30.

Re: The Talk2 List It is currently 4 degrees Fahrenheit.

2015-02-20 Thread Andre Louis
Yes, long before twitter, long before facebook, this list existed. It still
exists. It will continue to exist as long as the box by my right-foot can be
bothered to do what it does. Come on then, let's have a catch up in 5 lines.
You can actually say quite a lot in just 5 lines, you know.

I will say that I was quite concerned today, because I was in a building
that was being evacuated due to a suspicious something or other outside. To
get to my cab, I had to slide under two sets of police tape. I don't
remember the last time I had to do that.

anyone else done anything crazy today?
If you have, let's hear it.
Last line: Yesterday, my sister in-law came over to watch Eastenders with me
and the wife, and find out who killed Lucy.

Wow! It’s like seeing a load of old friends after a long break. Oh I do
state the obvious don’t I? Lol! well, I haven’t forgotten you all anyway,
well those of you I knew in the first place. Good to see this list still
lives after all this time.
