The procrastination monster can be a big factor but being busy with other life stuff can be too. Guess it depends on how much everyone is looking to develop their repertoires. I personally like to have 3 or 4 tunes I am working on at a time. Perfecting a tune takes me alot longer than getting it

Maybe two weeks would be good: personally if I have can get the time to work on stuff, which is not guaranteed, I get into it quite quickly, at least to the point where I am then ready to play it for the next weeks and months, at which point they may be better, but possibly not massively better

Depending on the tune(s) and how busy I am during that month/two weeks, I could possibly hang with every two weeks. I like Kathy's idea of picking two at the beginning of the month and then you can choose which one to learn first and the quicker ones can learn both. Just my 0.02. --
