Hello Tbbeta, I'm on 5.1.0.1 beta. Flagging still does not stay in place. I can mark real folders, and files in virtual folders, but after a reboot of the program, flags will be missing. I understand that there G> are folks out there who get no legitimate html email. I'm not sure how G> they do it... True that browsers are more vulnerable in their native configuration. However they can be configured to be quite protective with readily available & proven tools to do this. Additionally, when the user double-clicks the HTML icon in the message they are aware they are taking a purposeful action that has the potential for unwanted results. No system will ever be able to effectively perform actions that are the users' responsibility without the user losing freedom and control. - -- Paul The Bat! v.4.2.44.2 on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit 6.1.7601 No IMAP No OTFE Current beta is 5.1.0.1 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

The point of TB having internal rendering being that browsers are especially vulnerable to security issues. Especially IE. The more widely used they are, the more vulnerable they are. In my case, the emails that are most likely to be guilty of security offenses go straight to junk and are never viewed. While leaving html email from my legitimate correspondents viewable and renderable. The better the rendering the betting I like it. I understand that there are folks out there who get no legitimate html email. I'm not sure how they do it... -- Gleason Current beta is 5.1.0.1 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
