If the user needs to change the format, it will be possible to do in Windows Control Panel / Regional and language setting. Version 4 did store dates in local time, version 5 stores dates in UTC, and also put a new flat that the date of the message is in UTC. Version 4 does not understand this flag. Hello Tony, I also had similar problems before, they happen when the connection is in IDLE for very long time, then somehow the connection is dropped. The message that the connection is closed seem to come from the TCP/IP socket. Most likely the operation system at client's or server's side or a router with stateful packet inspection drops a connection.
