[-] The Bat! was unable to add a root certificate to trusted store
[+] Plugin API: Address book can be created from scratch
[+] Plugin API: BeginUpdate/EndUpdate methods to perform major changes in
address book (suspend repainting)
[-] (#0008885) Filters could not be called from a separate message viewer under
some circumstances
[-] Failed to store... warning when some messages was deleted by
antispam/antivirus plug-in in POP session.
[-] Option to display a message as the root of a Subject/To/From message list

explicitly selected option enabled
[-] Plugin API: Some methods wasn't declared as stdcall
[-] (#0008813) Operations with X.509 certificates in the account properties

[+] The Bat is now able to handle Certificate Request Files (PKCS#10). If you
try import this request file to your list of certificates, The Bat! will search

than the request.

errors on disconnected accounts

[*] An option to insert textual representation rather than the image for an

5.0.24 MSI files

2011-10-06 Thread Maxim Masiutin
Hello TBBETA,

We are going to release a bugfixing MSI that resolves only certain
important issues since last release 5.0.20. So we took the code base
of 5.0.20 and applied some fixes to make 5.0.24.

[-] A sorting office action to move or copy messages to folders with templates
in the destination folder names, did prevent from specifying template arguments
which did contain non-file characters
[-] Sometimes a filter action to move a message to a folder couldn't be created
due to invalid checking of folder file name, it could fail on a legitimate name.
[-] AV when trying to get host name by IP-address
[-] Smartpad-related fixes
[-] The Bat! was unable to add a root certificate to trusted store
[-] (#0008813) Operations with X.509 certificates in the account properties
weren't saved
[-] When opening a message on IMAP that contained inline html graphics, The
Bat! could display a progress window without a caption

Could you please confirm that these problem have been in fact fixed
and the files 5.0.24 run and install properly?

GetTimeFormat http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd318130%28v=VS.85%29.aspx

And The Bat! calls them both sequentially and combines the output.

Previously The Bat! didn't call Windows API functions and that's why it was

This is deliberate, it shows a date 44 days in the past.

RP 2. The item 'Use custom date format for current week's messages' cannot be
RP edited. It always displays the full date and time, and so do this week's

Those old formatting strings are incompatible with new strings. Old format

different formats and that's why we have decided to not use old default
settings, since it's impossbile to convert them.

 2) why is this setting thebat-selected-language-depended?? I have Czech
language selected in Windows regional setting, but when is English

This is same as in 5.0.22.4

This is what users have asked about. The users wanted month names and week
names in the message list to correspond to the language of The Bat!
interface, for uniformity. Theoretically, we can add an additional option in
the preferences dialog to use Windows default language rather than language
setting of The Bat!, but that be too many options, don't you think? Do you
think that this option to use Windows language rather than The Bat! language
is really needed?

2011-07-26 Thread Maxim Masiutin
Hello Tony,

I also had similar problems before, they happen when the connection is in
IDLE for very long time, then somehow the connection is dropped. The
message that the connection is closed seem to come from the TCP/IP socket.
Most likely the operation system at client's or server's side or a router
with stateful packet inspection drops a connection. Try using an option
when online, refresh folder every 30 seconds, so probably the connection
won't be without data for longer than 30 seconds again.

OK, in the upcoming beta please also try to use about 2-4 simultaneous
connections to the same server if it supports that. More connections won't
improve speed since only one connection can use one folder at a time and more
connections will just wait for each other or may even delay the server. I
